Yes. Nothing from the first 3 albums...I suppose a predictable set .Would have liked a bit of ogre battle,But couldn´t see paul rodgers throwing flash bombs all over the stage somehow.Again would have prefered a harder 70´s sound.Dont get me wrong i had a great night, love of my life was just fabulous i found it very emotional.(They should of just let the audience sing all the songs)

Just out of curiosity,
Queenonline says that Show Must Go On was in the setlist, but no-one has mentioned it. Was it played?
(or, has someone mentioned it and I missed it?)

The Show Must Go On was indeed in the setlist. It was the last song before they left the stage for the first time. Ie. before Feel Like Makin Love after Bo. Rhap. as per the queenonline set list. Very Good it was too.
Cool. It's such a great song that it needs to be out there :)
It was a good show. Better than I'd expected in some ways.
There was a lot of stuff that didn't work for me though. At the moment that seems to be more prominent in my mind - I'm sure I'll feel more positive as the day goes on.
Found myself singing and tapping my feet to 'Feel Like Making Love!' all morning!

I thought the concert was very good.
Everybody in the crowd seem to enjoy it and get involved.
Brian doing his acoustic bit on a stool was brillent and I have always enjoy his 10 minute Guitar Solos. In fact he stood out as the star of the show. He seemed to take the frontman role, even more than Paul.
Paul was very good, no sign of the forgotten words seen at Fancourt. He appeared a lot more comfortable when singing his own songs but that is to be expected and he performed the queen songs pretty well.
Roger looked a lot better than recent pictures have showen and I'm In Love With My Car was a particular highlight for me.
I think there is room for a little improvement but I am sure that will come as the Tour progresses, after all it is the first full show since their respective solo tours.
I thought the nods to Freddie and John were done well and fitted in nicely while not overshadowing Paul.
There were a few tracks that I was hoping for that were not included, but maybe they will appear later in the Tour.
I am not going to go through every song as this has been done already and I'm sure others will do this in the near future. But to sum up I thought it was great and am very much looking forward to Prague where I will be seeing them next.

i had my doubts reading peoples comments on this board in recent days, but i don't care what anyone else says, i thought Paul Rodgers was pretty damn good last night.
he didnt try to immitate Freddie, he just was Paul Rodgers, and he pulled the Queen sonsg he sang off very well.
hats off to him, and i'll see you boys again at Wembley Arena...

Show was Great - the setlist not so much
Reachin Out is not the perfect opening at all (PR solo acoustic), Bo Rhap was also very tricky - reminede me a bit of ELVIS the Concert
and These Are The Days & Radio GAGA were played using a playback-drum-loop ....
'39 was cool- as this was not on the setlsit (will post a picture of it later on my main-page) and opening his solo-set brian said something like "now i can playwahtever i want, right. even this..." and he started with '39 - very special
the tourmerchadising (will post pictures of it later on my main-page) is weird and way too expensive
all in all much better than i ecpected and much much much better than the fancourt fiasco

Boring setlist, a C-version of "Magic tour". Why can´t they play songs like Ogre battle, march of the black.., Flick of the wrist, tenement funster, sail away sweet sister, it´s late, your my best frient, GREAT KING RAT, save me, innuendo....
Why are Brian May singing I want it all? And why didn´t they play more FREE songs like "soon I will be gone" or "stealer".

always nice to know it better then the performers, right?
Turolf - you're ideal setlist would please about 500 hardcore fans.
Setlists have to appeal to the general fan, not the hardcore. Hence the setlist is generally greatest hits with a little extra. Which I thought was pretty good.

In my post I forgot to mention the annoying woman who before the gig must have shouted John Deacon about 100 times. a) think of something more original b) shut the fuck up!
Guys, is this the final setlist for the whole tour, or is it gonna change? I really would love to hear some more recent material (post-magic era)!
First show of the Tour- the setlist WILL be basic.
Hopefully it will improve as the Tour commences.

yeah, I hope so.... 'cause it doesn't happen on every tour (i.e. on the Magic tour, the setlist remained the same...)
But we'll see!! Too bad i can't fly from Brazil to see the other concerts!! :-) !
