I think that the Pope was a good person but it doesn't mean that i have to leave one of my dreams (queen concert).The concert in rome means to me the first positive thing in my life after 2 years that i wish i could totally forget now.I was waiting this show like a new beginning, a new start to take the strenght to make order in my life.
The life on the earth goes one, there are a lot of good people that die every day, children that lose the right to live a real life in a few days, and nobody knows of them.
Life must go on.If you aren't agree sell the tickets and let other people to attend the show.
But i'm quite sure that you will attend the shows as well if they will be confirmeed!!!!!!!!!

we will know something this evening or tomorrow in the morning.
According to the Brian's site and the barleyarts site, Queen are decided to go on with their shows.
However, according to an important newspaper (http://www.repubblica.it/2005/d/sezioni/esteri/papa9/pellegrini/pellegrini.html) the Palalottomatica will be at disposal of the pilgrims:
[A disposizione dei fedeli saranno anche il Palalottomatica e il palazzetto dello sport, la Fiera di Roma, il palazzo dei congressi e diverse strutture dell'Ente Eur]
So, I really don't see how they can play in Rome tomorrow.

THE SHOW MUST GO ON....if Queen can play with Freddie gone, then playing with the pope gone shouldn't be a problem !
With the whole world press being there, better and more free publicity they couldn't wish for!
If Queen dedicate the show to the pope, then they will certainly have the sympathy of millions all over the globe !

How can we know if the concert will be done?
Bas, the problem is not playing All God's People rather than Fat Bottomed Girls.
The problem is, they don't seem to have a place where to play tomorrow in Rome in the first place!
It's rather disturbing that we can't still have sure information about the tomorrow gig. If Palalottomatica really will be available to pilgrims, the band/barleyarts should know by now, and they should inform the fans that by now are ready to go to Rome.

Italy is the country where you never know what is gonna happen the next day ;)
for example saturday at 1.36pm a communicatoin from the italian Sport Federation announced that no games had to be played this weekend....too bad that when radios some minutes later talked about it i was already arrived in the town where i should have made my football match....couldn't they give the communication in the morning??!?!?!

"Ho fatto di tutto per far sospendere o posticipare la manifestazione, ancora sto cercando di farlo e spero che prevalga l'intelligenza di chi ha organizzato questo avvenimento. Siccome e' un avvenimento privato, io non ho la facolta' di bloccarlo a meno che non vi siano ragioni di ordine pubblico. Sto discutendo con le autorita' competenti per risolvere questo problema. Se non si dovesse trovare una soluzione auspicabile, se posso esprimere il mio pensiero, si facciano pure il loro concerto e spero che non ci vada nessuno.
