Well crap! These ARE DRMed! What crap. $2 for a DRMed file I can't even use on my machine. What BS. Feh. You ain't winning any new fans with that, Queen.

Guess I too will patiently wait for someone to torrent them.

For example - Queen's Wembley and Milton Keynes, and Brian's Brixton were "full" shows - I was hoping that an official live product would be on the same lines - and not a composite of the entire European tour.

Actually, Brian's Brixton CD and Video/LD release was not complete, as the song "God (The Dream Is Over" (by John Lennon) could not be included for "legal copyright reasons" (Yoko didn't answer Brian's letter asking permission to use the song on the CD). So it's not quite complete. Also, apparently some songs were edited as well. I could be wrong on the last part.

Couldn't resist and downloaded:
- Can't get enough of your love;
- Fat bottomed girls;
- I'm in love with my car.

They are AWESOME! Can't wait for the DVD and for an eventual CD with new material.

Queen... rocks!

Cheers,

check properties of the tracks in your mediaplayer, it says that you may burn 10 times, not 3x :-)

proton what happens when you copy the WMA file e.g. to another harddisk? Could you burn that 'new file' also ten times? And what happens if you open the file in CoolEdit?

Got the right one this time.

You are correct, it is not the whole show, apart from "God", they cut out about 3 mins of Freddie calls before LOML and some after, plus the old red lady had a problem at the start of Lost Horizon, so Spike did an impromptu while it was being fixed.

The only cash register in this equation is the one I wanna shut on your fingers Pieter. Oh, if only. You don't have to buy the tracks, and the proceeds are going to a charity established in memory of one of the greatest men to walk the earth. And you guys are bitching about the price? My heroes.

Also - Windows Media Player is available for Mac last I checked (search MS's site), and if you have a problem with the DRM just burn it and rerip it as MP3. Will take you all of two minutes when you've completed your CD.
M
I've always wondering why Brian says 'Let's try again' at the beginning of 'Last Horizon'. I always thought it was because the band didn't get a big enough cheer!

I'd also like to point out that these tracks require Windows Media 10, which is not available for the Mac. So us Mac users do have a right to complain, firstly to Microsoft, and secondly to Queen.
J
No, the complaint goes directly to Queen. Choosing DRM to begin with, and WMV on top of that is just an asinine move.

Also, even for all the PC folks, WMV is at the bottom of the pile in terms of preference, as it's no good on an iPod...the most poplar mp3 player on the market.

I finally listened to the 30-second clips and I must say, any excitement I had for this tour was instantly drained from me. Paul Rogers is a good singer, but really doesn't fit at all into Queen.

Oh well.

If you do that it says it's copy protected, when you send someone else the WMA file they have to fill in YOUR email adress and password.

Don't worry, I ripped them all to Mp3, and they're widely spread amoung dutch fans already, should come to the rest of you soon
