Since very little official releases were shared on EZT (and most were banned immediately)- is there any reason to be worried?

Obviously some people, bands, legal representatives etc. don't see any difference in the non-profit swapping and piracy. A long while ago I posted here on QZ of a case round here, where a mere non-profit trader of bootlegs was given a huge fine for distribution of illegal recordings. And yes, he made no profit from his hobby.

Some suggested it was their legal representatives that made the threats this time. Hmmm
Hopefully this scare will smarten people up in regards to posting officially available material. Next time we may not be lucky enough to have such a forum for sharing great music.
