I'm currently seeing 27 peers and 0 seeders, with a whopping 2kb d/l speed. Looks like it might be a long month or so.
I'd be more than willing to convert this to .avi, .mpg, flac audio, .mp3, .shn or anything else that may seem desirable. That i, of course, providing the download ever finishes.
btw... has it been ABSOLUTELY confirmed that that the last 2 .vob files are "blank"? Seems a bit odd that there would be nearly 2 gigs of nothingness.

I'm still puploading at 30kbps. Hopefully it's uploading it so that when my ratio is 1.00, I'll have uploaded the whole thing and between all the peers, all the 'pieces' will be out there. I'll keep it going until I'm onto around 2.00 anyway though, I think, although I may turn it off at night so I can get some proper sleep.

Been on this since yesterday,i have 37% done and still have 39 hours but im really looking forward to it.
We all seem to be stuck at 43.7% at 4:31am (EST), I guess you went to sleep Elessar. Figured I'd keep you updated. Thank you so so much for even uploading this! I have uploaded torrents to webpages in the past, and I know how annoying it can be waiting for people to get the whole file, especially something this large. I will keep seeding however, hopefully this will help take some of the stress off your upload speed, since I seem to be uploading at a pretty decent speed myself. To answer your question, yes, when your progress reaches 100% or your ratio is 1.000 that would mean that the file has been sent completly to someone. Hope that helps.
4:43am (EST): The download is moving again, and the person with the IP address ending in 168.106 seems to have 100% of the files. Not sure if that's you. I've downloaded 2MB in about 5 minutes, so the speed is pretty decent. I am currently at 43.8% and says it has about 34 hours left, I'm sure the people people who stay connected and seed the faster it will get. Right now someone who is at 42.3% is downloading at almost 70 kbps, so I rest my case :-)
Could the poster maybe upload the DVD in a newsgroup, perhaps that's easier and much faster to download for all us Queen fans!? Thanks!
this won't be faster for the poster. i suggest you get on the torrent band wagon if you want this.
Well Richard, I think the poster wants to upload this for others not for himself, so what difference does that make?
Well if it takes say 3 days to share this via torrent it would take about the same time to upload this to a newsgroup if that was a dedicated upload. But as the poster is already sharing this via torrent it would take approx. twice as long for both if he decided to post it to a newsgroup as well; so how would that be quicker and easier!
That's true, but again, he's doing this for us fans... It would be easier for me and so many others who get a low download rate with this torrent thing.

Depends what bit torrent client you are using, but theoreticaly, yes-when you reach 1.00 that should indicate there is at least 1 copy of every piece out there. BUT..it could be that one single piece was seeded to someone who has given up or stopped for whetver reason abd tht would mean that, if you went offline straight away, there would probably not be a full copy within the cofines of the currently active seeders and leechers, so it's a good idea to waituntil you see tow or three other with full copies before disconnecting.
Your speed is quite good-most internet connecion download at much faster rates than they upload. For instance, on NTLworld, I am on their 3MB download service, but upload is only 105 of that, so I can never get over 30-ish kbps.
The two files that are blank,are they on the end of the concert??.In other words do we get the full concert with loads of blank stuff afterwards.

Yup, I'm afraid so!
It is the full concert though.
It's taken straight from South African TV, so there is a commercial break halfway through the set (maybe someone will get rid of it and covnert it to mpeg or whatever - I wanted to just leave it as it was so people can do what they like) and the set opens with TYMD immediately after a break, i.e. no introduction from Will Smith. But other than that it's the whole damned thing.

I'll keep it going for a the foresseable future then, but I may turn it off for 7 or 8 hours at night so I'm not kept up by the humming of the computer.
Thats ok then,i wasnt sure if there was any blank bits part way through the concert.I can cope with it the way it is no problem.
