Apparently the Crowne Plaza NEC (where several of us are staying, and which is, apparently, just next door to the show) has a good restaurant/pub in it. Would that do?
Greg
Hey Greg:
It looks like I'm going to B'ham for the gig after all. Might I be so bold as to ask join yinz in the Bar at the Crown Plaza NEC?
By the way, "yinz" is the only word of your language that I think I know . . . ;-)

Cindy,
Absolutely, hope to see you there! We need to work out final details, and quickly, especiallyl how we're all going to recognize one another, where exactly this bar/restaurant is, etc.
"Yinz" is a good start!

Are there any plans for a QZ meet-up before the Hyde Park gig in July? If not, Why not? :-)
Anyone who knows of a good pub near the right end of the park, let me know!

Hi from Manchester! Yes, I mean "youins." There's a bar in DC that caters to Pittsburghians and in their ads they say "yinz" so that's where I got it.
Hey Lisser, I didn't think you lifted up your shirt and flashed at the Kenny Chesney concert, just that the security guys (and stussy (got his name wrong but you know who I mean, the guy who said "F! F! F! . . ." about missing the visual!) got, and indicated that he was somewhat sorry to miss it. I'm guessing you won't fall for the old "security checkpoint guy" saying "lift your shirt so we can see if you're trying to smuggle something into the concert" line again. You know those guys can get those grey pants and white, short-sleeved shirts at any Sears store . . . they look real official too! HA! The response that works best for me is: "It'll cost you fifty bucks!" and they usually back off! Ha ha!
