Can we make a complete list of all fake recordings? I mean tracks which are named as demos, rare live performance and something like that then they're not (I don't mean wrong dates or venues on bootlegs):

- Mother Love (demo) - is a fan mix
- Time (live, 1988, Freddie) - is a fan mix, though other tracks from this last live Freddie's performance are real
- Tracks from 1977 Radio 1 sessions (for Alan Freeman) on some bootlegs have false audience noise.
- March Of The Black Queen (BBC version) - is an album original version (hope Mr Brooks wouldn't kill me for this).

Now it's your turn!
Great topic! I don't have anything to add but just thought I'd say this will be extremely useful..

Misfire- demo
Killer queen - rough mix
Tenement funster- demo
Now I´m here- demo
The millionaire waltz - demo
You take my breath away - demo
Fat bottomed girl - demo
All those appeared on some bootlegs and are fakes- either BBC recordings or vocal erduced tracks through mono channel.

Yes, it's available for download on some Queen fan sites and stated as 'demo version'.
- Under Pressure (demo version, appears on some bootlegs) - there's 'Feel Like' and there's Brian appearance on the USA KEWB radio station where he played on The Red Special this famous UP bass riff and few other guitar overdubs while original version was playing. Same is about Tie Your Mother Down, Brighton Rock, Headlong, Killer Queen, but I've seen few bootlegs where only such version of UP was mentioned as 'demo'.
crowing glory bootleg, it's Mannhiem, not Minnisota 1986 =)
MY GOD spell it write.

I've always wondered about that one. It never sounded right to me, but I can't figure out how they possibly faked it.

I know of more, but since I delete them as soon as I realise they are fake, I can't remember right now :)

Good thread.
djaef - Queen fan since 1678, after the Dorog concert!

How can Feel Like be fake, with all of those vocals?

You didn't get the point. I wrote that there's 'Feel Like' song and there's Brian's appearance on radio where he played UP bits during album's version playing, but there's no (to the date) proper demo of UP.
Seems as not many Queen fans interested in this, but anyway I've made more complete version of the list of fake recordings and it's on my site:

Thanks to Fenderek and John S. Stuart!
Thanks Sergey! That's very useful. It's awful to think there are fake recordings around!!!!

I just recently downloaded Time 88 and it's clear it's a fake. It would be impossible to sound exactly like the original in a live performance!

Thank you. I've updated it and would try to do it as soon as it's possible, hope it helps some fans for not spending money/time on meaningless tracks.
