The Simpsons seem to portray us pretty well. The one where they all go to Britain probably half of the jokes in that episode go over the heads of American viewers. But it was great for us Brits to see the Simpsons in a British context and throwing jokes in that only the British could find funny.
What gets on my tits is when people think England is London and that's it. It isn't.

Do brits really eat crumpet cakes with cream on them with their tea? i actually saw a photo...I think it was of Queen...eating crumpet cakes with real cream (not that canned American floor cleaner crap)..with their tea.

Sorry if I offended anyone before, that was just an impression I got from my years of watching American TV. I'm pleased to hear it isn't true.
It bugs me that everyone around the world thinks half of America are rednecks drinkin Jack or Wild Turkey, eatin' their corndog, sitting on their rusty pick up with no tires jacked up on cinder blocks with their hound dog and gun rack listening to Toby Keith.

Speaking of that I bought the book "You Might Be A Redneck If This Is The Biggest Book You've Ever Read" by Jeff Foxworthy. It's fuckin' hilarious.
