Thanks :D

I've been playin' for about... 4 years. Not sure exactly.

I hope to play Bohemian Rhapsody for my next recital. I think it would be the Christmas recital. I never play Christmas songs for the Christmas recital O_o.

If I do play Bohemian Rhapsody, I will be sure to post it :D

Would your music teachers let you play 'Bohemian Rhapsody' or any other Queen song?

I know some of them are very narrow minded when it comes to music and think that their students should only play Classical.

My piano teacher is very flexible when it comes to what music I play. When I was younger, she'd usually choose pieces that she thought were good for me, but now, I mostly pick my own music. She still has recommendations for me though. A few months ago, I was actually working on Bohemian Rhapsody with her, but I sorta lost interest. Not that I don't like it! I just prefer PLAYING more classical-ish. Besides, my dad said he'd buy me a new piano when if I learned how to play all of Suite Bergamasque, since he has some emotional attachment to that piece. So I've been working pretty hard on that one (It's 4 movements, and I've completed one).

Oooh... I want a Steinway grand! It would be a bit of a problem trying to get it in my house though. Not to mention the fact that the really professional ones probably cost up to $50,000 (just guessing).

I've played that Chopin piece (it's one of his Etudes). It's one of my favorite of his works, actually. It's certainly my favorite of his Etudes, followed closely by the "Black Key" Etude.

His name is Wladyslaw Szpilman, actually.
I don't want to pick on you, but I'm Polish and I don't like those kinds of misprints in Polish names. Are they really so difficult?
