i agree, especially if you listen to the lyrics " lose yourself in the moment in the music, in the moment,... this is your LAST chance, this opportunity comes once in a life time...! the words say it all, last chance, once in a life time, lose yourself in the moment and in the music, very smart having this at the beginning!

WHERE THE HELL IS THE AUDIO FROM THIS GIG?!
I wonder why Brian has talked about Manchester and Birmingham on his soapbox, but not Newcastle :(
Were we really that bad an audience?

Exact;y, whats going on, are we just dreaming when we thought QUEEN played Newcastle? I mean why would QUEEN want to play Newcastle, where we are the worst singiners and worst audience they will ever have, that just breaks my heart :(

I find it quite strange that Brian haven`t mentioned the Newcastle gig at all. I think we made hell of a noise in there, but perhaps it wasn`t enough.....
As for the audio, i know it will come, but not sure when.

Brian will not be pleased to hear that his "fave" journo, Billy Sloan (Sunday Mail dated 8 May 2005) has partly slated the show. He said, "The show was great one minute and then awful the next. I rate ex Free and Bad Company legend Paul Rodgers as one of rocks greatest singers. His voice is fantastic on Queen classics such as Hammer To Fall and We Will Rock You. So why was he banished to the dressing room for 35 minutes while guitarist May and drummer Roger Taylor performed boring solo's and lame versions of their hits? Dont get me wrong, it was great to see Queen back on stage. But as I've said all along, its a pity they couldnt be bothered to play a Scottish date."
I'm glad I wasn't the only one to notice 'no comment' in Brians soapbox about Newcastle gig! Especially as it was the opening gig of the UK tour! I have even taken the libert of emailing his web site to ask why! Even if someone has huffed him, its unfair to not recognise the thousands who paid good money and got involved in the show
