And here is another Review of the Stockholm show on the net, this time a positive one by Andrew Brel. I'm pleased to read that he is another person loving Brian's solos...

Well, do you have to be MACHO to apreciate a solo???? Where did you get that idea?
I agree with you entirely Katrin. well said! It's nothing to do with any kind of macho nonsense --
So... if guitar solos have absolutely nothing to do with being macho, why would you assume my hobbies include such stereotypically female things as knitting if I don't like the solos?
Surely you both must know that guitar is one of the best known fallic symbols, and playing a solo has more than a passing resemblance to male masturbation?
Gee, I obviously like watching a guy masturbate!! I didn't know that was why I got those shivers, goose bumps etc.
ROTFL!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for todays laugh Tero!

Mr. Tero,
Do you live at altitude or something or maybe in a blackhole somehwere? I think theres some pretty thin air passing through your melon man.
take a cold shower mate.
this forum topic has dried up -- i think Tero is trying to drag us all down to his level of depravity --- time for something better i think.
slainte!

Nope, I just happen to think differently than you.
I'm not sure if you were just trying to be clever and present knitting as the opposite of playing the guitar, or whether you were actually trying to provoke an argument out of me. :/
Either way, I do agree that this topic has run way past the point where it's sensible to continue it.
to be honest Tero --- i have no need to provoke an argument --- i find that boring and i have better things to do with my time. I just think your initial posting regarding Brian's solos and guitar solos in general was so narrow minded that it needed re-dressing.
and i found the comments you made in your previous posting which tried to link the guitar with a phallic symbol, to be down right rude and totally unnecessary. Typical of todays 'shock culture' - crude and bland and done before. certainly not funny if that was your intention.
That's why i like Brian's guitar playing --- inventive, fresh, dynamic and original, which is exactly the opposite of your banal ranting.
As for the knitting --- now that's what i call BORING! so maybe that's a hobby which you may derive some pleasure from. Only a suggestion of course but it may work for you.
In any case let us rockers get on with enjoying the Music while you make sure you don't miss a stitch.
