on the subject of singing - I have got to agree with Jimi there. Too many people standing around not singing - not knowing what '39 or I'm in Love with my car was. I sang every word of every song and am still hoarse today.
Incidently did anyone catch the riff from White Man and Its Late??? Bri was just teasing us - little monkey. I would have wet my pants if they had done Its Late!

Jimi were you standing on Bri's side? There was a lurch like figure with shoulder length black hair just in front of us with a lad with blonde hair nextv to him (he was tall too). I was a short arse bint with red hair and a sheer heart attack t shirt - I wonder if you were the bloke and younger lad standing next to me - cos the lad was singing nearly as loud and manically as me!!!

I think you're actually right with Love Token!!! It was definitel;y played few times! I was wandering about that riff! You're right- it IS there!

Glad he stopped cos i never liked it! Its late would have been the killer track of the night. And here is the rub. If the audiences were as lame as we seem to think it would have done no harm commercially to play a few tracks we discussed for ages on here.I still think the set list was overly safe. I mean nothing from the first 3 albums (???????)C'mon thats a crime.

I was knackered when i got outta there.Fortunately i wasn't driving as i'm only 25 miles away so we opted for the train. There's nothing worse than sitting in the car for an hour going nowhere. Newcastle was great as i booked into the Jurys Hotel which is over the road from the Arena. Very handy!
