Who has the first review from London Wembley?

I just got back in my Hotel and i'm typing this on my old fucked up laptop.

My first thought. WHAT AN AMAZING SHOW!!
WOW!
This was MUCH better than Paris and Rotterdam. I'm still deaf and shaking. And it was just a little bit longer than 2.5 hours. They dropped the terrible Beautiful Day remix. But instead they opened with the Reprise from MiH. After the first minute of Beautiful Day Brian Roger and the rest take over the song and Paul joined them for vocals.

Then the setlist didn't change for a few songs. After Another one bites the dust they played Dragon Attack, which was new in the list. Rogers backign vocals were awesome and filling the arena. Brian had a wonderful screaming solo in it. Then Brian announced a song they haven't played since 1989. And you heard Roger count in. 1.2.3.4 Bang! And Danny started to play the Breakthru Bass part! Whoa, the whole arena went nuts! Paul did a fucking great job, and it was awesome to hear this song played live for the very first time.

Then the setlist didn't change and one of the last songs from the "Brian and roger set" was another new one: Keep yourself Alive sang by Brian. I never heard Brian sing this one, so it was a great treat. Then they played the well known version of Bohemian Rhapsody and Paul entered the stage again. After the encore there were no surprises.

Great show! And i can't wait till Koln and Arnhem!!!!!

Not according to the SMS commentary on QOL, but at least it's a believable wind-up....

I went there only to buy myself t-shirt and wrist. I thought I could get it without ticket, but I was wrong as to get to the merchandise you must pass ticket/security (search) check. Anyway, once that show started (20:15) I was escorted inside and bought myself what I wanted. The girl who was standing there and selling the things was rather surprised to hear Eminem and did like it. As I was about to leave Reaching Out started and with first sounds of TYMD I decided to stay outside the venue :) It was really LOUD! Drumming was incredible. Man! It is very fast show when I come to think about it. Being outside is for sure not the same as inside so I won't make any reviews, but I must say that version of A Kind Of Magic was the best so far I heard (I still believe first few lines are done to fast/quick/short by Paul, but ok - it rocked). After that followed I Want It All which was superb. It blown me away even I was outside (and it was rather cold outside let me tell ya). I was impressed by also by fast versions of Hammer To Fall and B. Rhapsody. Very very good. I thought Bri solo was not as good as the one from Vienna (I can only compare it with what I heard), but perhaps I'm wrong here. Encore was exactly after show running 2 hours. It came quite fast to the end the - The Show Must Go On, All Right Now, WWRY and WATC. Next stop - Hyde Park - this time with ticket. Oh yeah!

Oh yes, Last Horizon... it had one part added toward the end and for a moment I thought this is now something new... it sounded like nothing I heard before and then it came back again as finish of LH. Cool.

Was great, but there are a lot of people leaving the gig unhappy. The venue was a shithole, and those not lucky enough to have 2nd row tickets like me could not see anything.

I certainly agree that there are many leaving the venue unhappy. I was at the NEC - 6 foot from the stage so have had my 'good gig'. I was halfway back off to the side at Wembley and couldnt see anything. I thought I'd be able to appreciate the sound and lights from afar having all the stage in my field of vision as opposed to being almost in the stage at the NEC but it wasnt to be.

They couldnt fit anywhere near all of their lights on the stupidly small stage and the sound seemed way more distorted than the NEC. The acoustics were shite and the stewards were also jobsworths. Both Brian and Roger commented on the venue "god forsaken shithole" was Brian's comment and everyone around me agreed.

Considering London is their hometown they should have found a better venue. It was not up to their standards.

People judging their tour on that showing wont be as impressed as they should be.

What an appalling venue. Absolutely dreadful. Felt sorry for the band really. Brian even apologised for how bad it was. Rotterdam Ahoy still ranks as the gig of the tour for me.
