Does anyone know if these mixes are allowed to be played on community radio stations, or would there be copyright issues? Also, along the same lines, is there any way for us to protect our mixes from other people downloading them, and subsequently claiming them as their own?

Ouch, that's a toughy... It could happen, I'm afraid. You could always try and go through official channels but I'm not sure how that'd work.

I dont claim to be a legal expert here, but I would imagine that they would be subject to copyright issues

At the moment there is probably no chance of protecting them. Doesnt seem to matter how you try, as there will always be someone who can get round whatever method of protection you use.

OK, thanks guys. I have a mate who's into community / hospital radio, but neither of us were sure whether these mixes could be legally broadcast.
As far as copy protection, I guess we just have to trust people's integrity. Cubik703 posted TMLWKY, and could have claimed it as his own, but had the decency not to, so hopefully most people will be the same.
