"7. Budapest - very nice city but by far the worst roads in the whole Europe! And of course, I got lost many times there. Not a surprise, I got lost in Munich too."
Does it mean you did not get lost in Vienna? :)

7. In Budapest I almost ruined one of my car's tyres when knocking over a huge hole in the asphalt. (These Eastern-Block-streets are really annoying!)
Warning! Off topic rant:
Tsk, tsk! After all these years and we're still referred to as "Eastern Block". This one expression from you made me realize just how much longer the EU still has to go. We're still divided, even though the Berlin wall is down. Perhaps it will be decades before the dream of an United Europe comes true.
FYI I am from Bulgaria. And you don't know what a "hole in the asphalt" looks like until you've driven in the streets of my home town.

Back to the topic at hand.
I only saw Budapest. Great show despite the technical setbacks. The guys seemed to have a lot of fun as were all of us.
My 2 cents: Brian and Roger could and should go on tour on their own. I don't think that they need an outside vocalist to fill in for Freddie.

Two of my biggest disappointments were:
1) The use of the Backing Tracks for GaGa and TATDOOL. Despite what I'd heard from the Fancourt gig, these still caught me by surprise and wish that they'd not be used.
2) A Kind Of Magic. It didn't work at Brixton, and it felt the same way at Wembley. Paul's vocals are great, the lights look superb, but there's something about it I simply don't 'get'
The other thing that slightly disappointed me was the setlist. With all that material, and all those tracks which I think suit Paul's voice, we ended up with a Hits Tour, albeit with a couple of minor surprises here and there. Until the UK Shows, there wasn't really much change. Hopefully, the break between the Spring/Summer Tour will give the chance to rehearse and add more songs to the show.

"Roger apparently hates meeting fans after what the "Roger girls" were doing to him on the Electric Fire tour."....Martin, out of interest what is this that you speak of? I heard something about an incident with a scarf, but if you could elaborate more?
I’m pretty sure the “Roger Girls” are the 18-22 year-olds who follow him around to all his shows…I met several in line for the Birmingham show, and they had TONS of photos of them with Roger, mostly from his last solo tour. I asked them how many times they’d met him, and one said, “Seventeen.” I didn’t pursue a conversation with them after that. The thing that makes me angry is that they see him as a sex symbol more than as an artist (which is ridiculous considering he’s on the far end of his ‘50s, and they’re barely 21, if that…and also definitely not his type physically, to put it politely). I stood next to a few at the Birmingham gig (no choice of mine), and they were fine…Until Roger so much as picked his nose, at which time they would shriek at him with their screeching cockney voices at totally inappropriate times. I was so happy to be there, in the front row, that it was easy to ignore them…But when one of them started shrieking during “Days of Our Lives,” which is too beautiful and serious to muck up with screams of “Roger, you sweet thing!” (or whatever) I calmly tapped her on the shoulder and told her and her friend to shut the fuck up. That worked, and within a few moments the song had me in tears...
Overall these girls were easy to ignore, especially considering how damn excited and happy I was, and how beautiful and INCREDIBLE the whole thing was, and I’d pretty much forgotten about them until you brought it up…but I can see how Roger must LOATHE this, especially considering how many shows these girls go to. No wonder he wants to avoid them…Too bad it ruins it for all the well-balanced fans who’d just like to shake hands with him, express their respect and gratitude, and maybe get an autograph.

Yeah- I had one in Cardiff, she was screaming the entire gig. "Shut the fuck up" didn't work...
Barbara - in Vienna I had about four people around me, Miklos included, so it was quite safe :-)
Oh and I got lost in my home country - in Prague. Many times, to be honest :-)
As for the Roger girls, I think GregM has said it very well. I have several female friends who LOVE Roger but FORTUNATELY neither of them is mad enough to scream "Roooooggggeeeeerr" during half of the gig. And yes, I'm absolutely pissed off when I hear this because it's ruining the whole experience from the concert. You can jump, you can wave, you can sing - but what's the fucking point in screaming like mad?
Sometimes I wish I was brave enough to say "shut the fuck up!", unfortunately there's still a bit of a gentleman hidden inside me :-)

Yes the "Roger Girls" are a pain the ass. Had the misfortune of seeing them during the Electric Fire tour.
I remember one having a bunch of photographs of them with Roger. Then when Roger came outside they were pushing and begging for a photo with him, like they needed anymore. Thankfully I did manager to get him to sign something.
These same girls also force Brian to stop signing in Glasgow in 1998. They were pulling on his coat and he said that he "had to go". They were acting crazy.

Martin, you should ask one of those girls if they would like to scream the name Martin all night after the gig =)

Pieter -- It sounds like the exact same girls. The ones I saw had a big stack of photos from that tour, all of them with Roger (and in several he looked distinctly put off, while they were grinning like idiots…I though that was kind of funny, except for poor Roger having to deal with it). While we were queued they were showing the photos to anyone who would look.
Yes, it really pissed me off. Plenty of people were just staring at them like, “What the fuck’s wrong with you?” The sad thing is, the two I saw seemed like fairly young girls, but they were still managing to make it to gigs all over England (and had obviously gone to a bunch of gigs on the ‘Electric Fire’ tour, too, and that was what, six years ago?) Don’t know how they can afford it (or what their parents must allow them to do), but you’d think they’d learn some sense after awhile. Maybe (scary thought) they're older than they look.
Perhaps Roger should take them aside and give them a good talking to after one of these shows…
I didn’t let it ruin the concert, though. I just ignored them and kind of elbowed them away from my place by the barriers. And after I told them to be quiet they became much more subdued, thank God. :)
So it was still the absolute greatest show I’ve ever seen, and one of the greatest nights of my life…Absolutely incredible.

I went to Newcastle to see them and it was an amazing show, you can tell they where a new band pieced together only a few month ago but over time (if the QPR continues) the show will become a lot tighter. I do agree with A kind of magic only Freddie and Roger can sing that song Paul didn’t have the voice for it.
But i hope this isnt the last we see of them and im hoping for soem new songs and a new tour

I think I may be one of the only ones, but I LOVED the Q + PR version of “A Kind of Magic” – although I saw them in Birmingham, and apparently that particular night it was better than usual, judging from others’ comments. I just love that song, and I thought the new live version worked very well.
I hope if the tour hits the US the "Roger girls" will have run out of money.
