Making personal profit off of the works of Queen's tour. I understand recording for personal enjoyment, and have never had a problem with that. But, for otbennett to make a personal profit off of the tour is copyright infringement!
this guy is the biggest bootlegger on ebay, i emailed him and contacted ebay about his items, they did nothing!! he said that he can do whatever he wants to! man this pisses me off!!
Someone report this one to queen, and ebay!!
I don't have a major problem with bootlegs on ebay - they're generally cheaper than record fairs etc.
I do have a problem with this guy exploiting the generosity of those on here who have (allegedly)GIVEN him all of this material.
I say allegedly because I have had contact from him claiming that he is selling his own recording of Cardiff. I await verification - if it is forthcoming I will be holding my hands up and apologising.
Of course, then he will have to prove to the rest of you that he went down to SA and video'd 46664, then went to Brixton with a Digital Video camera, Rotterdam, Manchester, Hamburg & Cardiff with a minidisc player and finally Belfast with a Digital Stills camera....

I reported otbennett a couple of weeks ago and highlighted it on here when he posted a thread to "request" the B'ham NEC show. I have subsequently followed his e-bay sales closely.
He has made a fortune from leeching shows from you guys, even though he has sold them at a fiver a time the volumes have been immense

I fully agree with those who say that nothing that is shared here should be sold on Ebay or anywhere else for that matter. For me it is just something I would not choose to do simply because someone made the effort to get these glorious things and then made then available for me and you to enjoy. As for this asshole, I wouldnt even let him have the pleasure of me spitting on him - he just isnt worth it.
No doubt we will see his full video of the Belfast gig, probably still classed as "excellent", that he "couldnt be bothered holding the cam up all night" at on Ebay (see his thread below). To me it begs the question, why bother taking one at all if your not gonna try for the whole gig?
Rest assured, as well, that a certian guitarist for a certian band has contacted me to let me know that he is aware of what Mr. Bennett is doing.......and that they are on the case, so to speak.
