Can't quite make out that post:

"Freddie's Interview is from November 6, 1984. It WAS on vinyl (see above) I found this info on a person's website wanting this."

Being on vinyl makes perfect sense for the era. Finding a real copy of it, though, will be difficult.

"There is also an interview with Queen that is gives less info about that Mary Turner/Westwood One also did."

Don't follow you on this part, Arlene.

I was doing a search on Yahoo for the Freddie Interview...when I saw this

SHOW84-30 1984 QUEEN OFF THE RECORD WITH MARY TURNER 2 LP RADIO STAT CUE SHEET WESTWOOD ONE

.....BEFORE I saw the 2 links you posted to all of Queen's interviews (THANK YOU).

This LP was on the website of some person who was requesting this, along with the interview for Freddie, but I copied this info as it was.

Never mind though, becuase YOUR 2 links give me every interview that was ever done, by what person and for what media, and in what year. Thanks!

Just wish I could BUY this stuff on CD.

I WANT that FREDDIE INTERVIEW!

I don't have the ability or technical knowledge to save the entire 6 part interview to a file in Windows Media Version 6 with the same is it MP3's that are on that site, cuz I was able to listen to it fine, crystal clear.....

...or to burn it to a CD off the mercuryparadise wesbite (If that is even allowed)

Zeni can you send the entire Freddie interview to me in a file which I could save to my email and in the format I stated above?

Oh dear .. I have visions of topic after topic starting with: "I heard on that Freddie interview..." just when the Queen MoJo mag had dried out
I do not want any google ads here.

You should be able to right-click on the link on Rien's site, then "Save As" and have the file on your hard drive.

Otherwise, you'll have to send me an email since none is listed in your profile.

Well... I rarely read the topics of the General Discussion, but I saw my name in the subject.
As you can see I got this interview from Boxcar Danny. Wasn't (isn't) he a Queenzoner?
btw in the menu on my site you'll find a button called e-mail. So you CAN contact me :-) Perhaps you overlooked this.

thanks to the others for answering the original question in such detail.
Feel free to visit my site - http://www.mercuryparadise.com (Come into my life, it's a MercuryParadise)

I cannot remember where I got this interview from. I surely don't have it on lp. Have to look it up, perhaps I downloaded it somewhere. (I do remember that More Wine, from Freddie, haha)

I noticed Arlene and I answered it.
The menuframe of my site did not have a scroll bar, but I just fixed it. If you couldn't see the email button than perhaps your screen is not set to 1024x768 pixels.

Oh and of course I knew it was you Dan.
:-) You're the one who deserves the credits for this interview (and the superb Innuendo graphics on my homepage - also used in 2 wallpapers)

Why doesn't QPL release some of these cool Westwood 1 Interviews with Freddie & Queen as well as other radio/media/BBC/etc, interviews with Freddie & Queen. I would buy them!

It may be a rights issue. I doubt QP has the rights to all of the Westwood One material, not to mention all of the other hour-long radio shows they have done in the last 30 years (ie Innerview, Rockline UK, Rockline USA, In the Studio).

Plus, interviews are rarely big sellers. Ask most people, and they'll say the Interview disc on the Freddie Box Set is just filler.

FILLER? Rediculous. I LOVE interviews. More so LIVE like this than written in a publication. There's nothing like hearing an artist personally speak about their work, career, art...hearing their personality (which you can when it's live) if they joke or kid, if they are nice (or nasty), whatever.

People on QZ bitch, bitch, bitch contradicting one another about what did Freddie REALLY say or think, etc?

Well, live interviews like this....set the record straight and answer those debates, questions, etc..

...and in this case, since Freddie has passed on, it's VERY meaningful, touching and moving (for me anyhow), to actually hear him alive and well, vibrant and happy, discussing his art and music. It's lasting images and memories directly from him.

BTW, I just sent you a different email.
