Thanks guys for releasing this. Excellent work.

Congrats on the trading site - it looks good. But I think you might have went live just a little early. It loads really badly in Firefox with the same sort of problems the official Queen + paul Rodgers site originally had.... it looks terrible. Did you just test on IE? My apologies if it's something on my end. I think the site is designed really well. It looks great. I'll check it out some more and start trading :)

We haven't moved to the new server yet, it wasn't ready cus the hosting company HofmanICT was going to place their server at was taken over so the deal they made wasn't available anymore. They are making arrangements to fix it. Till then the site might be slow yes. Sorry for that, but we wanted to release it anyhow.

How comes Greg is Queen's archivist and his book is so damn full of mistakes?... Gee, there are people on this board who could make a far better archivist than him!

Thank you for this great bootleg, Rev! It's a dream come true :) Wma files are just fine to me, I don't do much trading anyway, so I guess I don't really care if it's lossless or not. You people shouldn't complain, wma files are better than nothing and it's a blessing to get such a rare (and splendid) recording complete!

If you are "torrent-impaired" you can still download the complete concert here in mp3 format:

What a way to start the day. Wow!! Thanks so much for this. I`ve read about this gig and in particular this soundboard version as the Mecca of Queen boots for years. Finally being able to enjoy it is something I really didn`t think would happen. Cheers to everyone involved in finally getting this to the fans.
Love the sound..phew what a gig.
Thanks again

Okay for soemone who practically lives on his computer, what am I missing here that isn't allowing me to download the Houston 77 concert.

I'm obviously missing something (BTW - I have downloaded Bittirrent)

This Concert was sooo cool. I had just moved to Houston a month before and got to go. Not a bad concert for my only one to see them at.

We are very appreciative of the opportunity to listen to this in a better format (when we have time to download this weekend).

Have had the entire concert for a few years....but from three different sources, needing to place one next to the other to the other, with obvious sound quality differences at each change.

Thank you

Hi folks -

Some tidbits of information that might be helpful for us who wouldn't normally use WMA files, nor might not be used to them etc., etc.

Just thought I'd pass along my own experience having just burned the first disc of the Houston show.

First off - it sounds AMAZING -- AND it's SEAMLESS provided you use the right software. I know there might be alternatives to the way I did things, but agian, this is simply for those who are using WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER 9...

For those of us with WMP9 - if you burn these tracks cold (i.e. without any sort of plugins), the program WILL produce a 2-second gap between tracks - that's NOT to say there is any sort of gap tacked on to each track, because there's NOT - it's simply that this program will not burn one track after the other without gaps. (I basically have answered a question that 'I' asked in a previous posting here...

To solve this 2-second gap issue, I downloaded the Nero WindowsMedia Plugin - which gives the option to 'eliminate gaps between tracks'...which works beautifully to create the seamless concert!!

Here's a link (1 of several, I'm sure that are out there...)

http://www.wmplugins.com/ItemDetail.aspx?ItemID=228

Secondly - I thought I'd give my 2-cents and MUCH deserved credits to those who took the time to put such a wonderful concert on Queenzone. Not to discredit the MP3 version, but in my view, if you're going to go 'so far' to download MP3's, why not go that little bit further to get the wma version of these tracks.

Both formats sound great mind you and they both sound WICKED!! - but personally, I wanted to go for 'as close' to the original source as I could - and therefore I opted to wait just a little bit longer for the torrent to finish downloading. It was WELL WORTH the wait!!!

While I did notice the odd 'pop' in the sound, and note that there is the strange 'skip' during '39, I am NOT about to complain about this concert...after all...it's an amazing show that is FREE for us fans. Why should we complain!!

Anyway...that's my 2 cents.

Thanks once again for those who put it up - in either format.

Gonna burn disc 2 now.

Cheerzzz

Andrew

Thanks for that Andrew! That will stop cutting the gaps out with CoolEdit! Does it work for mp3s too?...
