What the hell makes you think you have the right to have a go at someone else - if you don't like the look of a topic, DON'T READ IT! It's not difficult. Now I know you all enjoy feeling smug and superior but you are no better than amadeus or any of the other people you like to bully regularly. You are the ones who need to grow up and maybe even leave queenzone, because you are making it bitchy and unpleasant for the rest of us.

I registered but not to argue with them. I don't mind if other people preffer different boards.

You are new, thunderbolt, so you probably don't know that last time when QZ users went on a rampage on another board, the QZ board was left with a spammer from that other board who still has not left. I do not tell people they should be kicked off QZ for voicing their opinion, I am just pretty fed up with people like amadeus, who is 14 years old and has no clue about Queen but uses this board to pick fights here, there and everywhere. I would not be surprised to learn that his parents have no clue about what he is doing. And I am grown up, thank you very much.

@ EvilTwin: you are absolutely right, not all (very) young fans come here just to continue their msn chats. You will see that the "oldtimers" are not unfriendly to people just because they are young or don't know something. It's always a matter of "what comes around , goes around" Having said that we have the oldie-newbie discussion at least twice a year.

YV, you'll see who will be here after the crappers get bored trying to trash up QZ. They'll move on to the next board. It's the same story just a different time.

However, I'm up for some reclaiming if anyone else is, be careful what you ask for though.

So far as I can tell, before this tinpot 14 year old opened his big bazoo there was absolutely no damned malice on either side. Made in Heaven's just a nice place where I said 'holy crap Queenzone has a picture I don't like', very early one morning.

My bemoaning of a lack of quality control has nothing to do with what I think about the site. So what if it has a problem with immature bullshit going down in the forum? If people didn't do what laddie _amadeus_ did just now, you probably wouldn't have the problem you're facing.

Why on earth would it matter if I feel 'smug' or 'superior', while poking fun at _amadeus_? The fact is it don't matter, he was in the wrong.

And there's a difference between 'poking fun' at people and showering them with abuse.

I can't stop being surprised about people who insist on their right to fill this place with crap and then cry "abuse" when someone calls it crap. I don't see any label on the QZ front page saying "Queen kindergarten - enter with no fear " or something like that. You tell me to grow up? Where in your community can you have childish fights and litter the family room with trash without annoying other people and without being told to go to your room?

Richard tries hard to make this place okay for all possible users but what happens? Just take a look into the Personal forum and you'll see endless fights and bitching like this is the only place on earth where people can fight. Why should normal users not have the right to defend the forum against this endless, tedious crap? Where in his normal life can amadeus go to the neighbour's house and start a fight without being told that it's bad behaviour and won't be tolerated? He is exercising his right to voice his opinion but so am I.

Theres another Queen forum? I'm off! Or do they bitch about Queen and how Queen is nothing now aswell?

You reap what you sow Thunderbolt (and anyone else who feels this way.) If people post irrelevant things or litter this board then be prepared to take the consequences that go with it. If you don't want this to happen, then think before you post or search before you post. I can't remember a time on here where a new or newer user is flamed for making one or two unintelligent posts or threads. The roasting begins when it is deservant and not until.

I don't know what this other board is, nor am I concerned. You'll NEVER ever see any reputable QZer flaming another board. We could care less what other boards are doing, we stay in our own backyard. I do care about the well being of this board and it's posters as does YV, it is her primary concern and she is all too often babysitting the likes of immature posters.

I haven't flamed many people on here as I am a tolerant person. The amount of time it would take me to get upset over a poster on here far out numbers the time annoying posters stay on this board. However I will admit that I get annoyed when I see the elder members of this board, the ones that contribute an ENORMOUS amount of their own time and energy helping the rest of the newer fans learn more about Queen. Of course this is a hobby they love too, but when posters act irresponsible and litter this board, it is a slap in the face to them and it's disrespectful. These lazy, irresponsible posters are making a mockery of something these elder members take seriously and have spent a great deal of time and energy on, not to mention money. This is where this abuse you speak of stems from. Do you think they just wake up one day and decide to be bitchy? No.

I am aware that this is a notice board, not real life, in-person situations, but this doesn't give anyone the right to act like a baboon and spoil the board for anyone else. If you act like an idiot, be prepared to be treated like one.

It is accepted on this board that you can't have good posters with out having bad posters. The good posters know who they are and are still here and will still be here after each wave of bad posters comes and goes. That doesn't bother me, bring it on bc I'll still be here long after you are gone. What does leave a bad taste in my mouth is the refusal on the part of the irresponsible posters to accept the reprocussions that come along with your lack of contribution and littering of the board. Take the verbal lashings you deserve, learn from it, act responsibly, and stay, or leave and find another board that suits your personality and maturity level. However, do not feel the need to make an exit post. If you leave, just go. I'm sure if we miss you, we will know where to find you.
