i was just wondering obviously the majority of Queen songs have some sort of guitar solo in them, but some allow Roger to shine as well -so whats your fave integrated 'drum solo' in a studio recorded song?
mine is the one in Dragon Attack and Now I'm Here

I like DRAGON ATTACK as a song a lot and like the fact that actually it has a little solos by Brian, Roger AND John. Now that's a rarity :)

I´m agree with you.... but it seems, now Roger thinks kind differently about drum solos.

I think the drums sound great on Sheer Heart Attack. Not sure if it's truly considered a solo, but Roger's in top form for such fast drumming.

Roger's memory of not doing drum solos are distorted, Brian May stated on The Bohemian Rhapsody extra on Greatest Video Hits 1 DVD that Roger did tympani drum solos during Queen's most self-indulgent period and then Brian said "I should talk as I used to do 20 minute guitar solos". Roger did drum solos on the Jazz tour with the tympani drum solos on Brighton Rock. Then he duplicated the feat on the 1980/81 tours with Keep Yourself Alive where his drum solo would then end as Brian began his doubled delayed guitar doodle which served as overture to Roger's tympani solo which kicked ass on the We Will Rock You Montreal 1981 DVD.
