Only one thing that I can agree is that I don't think Paul was Freddie's hero... I really doubt! Maybe he liked his voice, music, but I have never heard/read any Freddie's interviews where he's saying that Paul was big influence to him (neither George Michael wasn't hero for Freddie, though he liked his voice and I have photo of Freddie staying near George on Queen's 20th Anniversary party, but it means nothing). Brian started to say that Paul was Freddie's hero only after the idea of Tour came. And that's shame...
It's something like case with Tim Staffel. Is he our hero (for Queen fans) or not? He's good and important person in Queen history, but not our hero.

lol @ plastic surgery trash, I couldn't put my finger on it but I thought Paul Rodgers was looking a lil funky on that Bad Company reunion concert they put out a couple of yrs back.

Too true. Brian and Roger need to take a good hard look at themselves. Shame on you guys. What was wrong with going on your solo tours or creating a new band?
If you listened with an open mind you would realise Rodgers hasnt hit a wrong note yet on any of the shows (the ones I've heard anyway). You know Freddie wasn't always perfect. Listen to Wembley '86. In IWTBF his voice isnt in key. Rogers isnt Freddie Mercury. They are differant people and he aint trying to be Freddie. If you complain about that then surely Freddie was shit because he sang Jailhouse Rock totally differant to the way Elvis sang it. And I bet Little Richard is well pissed off with Freddie because he sang Tutti Frutti in a completely differant way.
Freddie would be happy because his music is still going nearly 15 years after he passed away and Rodgers was a hero to Freddie. And incase you havnt noticed Freddie IS dead. Some of us still want to see Brian and Roger, I know I do. The tour HAS been a big success and no matter what you say, people like the tour. Queen isnt yours. It's not up to you what happens to it. This band is Queen + Paul Rodgers. And they are great. Infact, they are really great. And there is only one band better.
