I know where is your point.. in the several years as a member of this board i always agree with the rules and all. But theres something is right too. Here are a lot of spanish spoken members.. sometimes a newbie enters and ask something in spanish and is almost hanged for that. I think the attitude of many of us is originated in the sarcastisc post of many of the members of this board...
I understand completely why we should speak in english, is all about being Universal and Share for all.... is not because this is richards site and he speaks english, because if he were selfish in that aspect Queenzone wouldnt be the great site it is now.
I know personally Abelardox and he is a little "innovative" in his way of express things. He didnt a hate speech about languages, he was a little sarcastic about the way most of the people here treat someone in our language, maybe is his own experience of being banned just for ask something in QZ chat in spanish.... ¿Do you see my point?
I think just like in USA, the latins are great part of society and are treated like equals, we need a little respect here... thats all
I never felt bad with any of you personally but i know cases were people are extremely racist with some members.

and as i appreciate all the stuff you are shared over the years everytime i see your logo on the beginning of several videos, i think abelardox deserves too the chance of people being grateful for putting the server where people like me wants to share material...

Hello Ozz, thanks for your message. I do respect Spanish speaking people like any other people. I was not annoyed by the fact that a Spanish thread was opened, I never care about Dutch, Finnish or any other threads - I was annoyed about the topic starter's statements that Spanish is such a great language while English is ugly etc. This has nothing to do with sharing Queen music, okay?
I agree that some people here are very impolite towards non-English users, they make fun of the mistakes they make - although many English natives make more mistakes than foreigners! I think it's stupid to laugh about such mistakes and it's also bad behaviour, nobody would do it in real life. I understand that this rude behaviour makes Spanish speaking people a angry, I would be angry too.
In the hub we have operators of all languages to make it easier but here on the notice board we have to get along in English IF we want to understand each other. It's true that English is the default language in the chat room because it's impossible to communicate in various languages at the same time. People using other language usually communicate in private chats. I am surprised to hear that someone was kicked out of the chat room only because he spoke Spanish, that should not happen.
You say that abelardox was sarcastic, I have to believe it, because he deleted his message. Let's hope it was all a misunderstanding and helps us to understand each other better. I am sorry if I hurt your feelings.

I don't care about people making mistakes in English. I do however care about people posting complete topics in spanish. The reason is that different languages may pop up as well, and in no time all kinds of languages are to be found, creating a big mess. It will become harder and harder to find an interesting topic, and you will just overlook the interesting stuff because of the rubbish (= language I do not understand).
So, for clearness people should stick to English.
