BTW a good discussion, love it. Arguments for and against. Sometimes insulting but the hole piont is still the discussion, great. Love to see them more often on Queenzone.

BTW Blueeyed, you really keep pinning on taht your hard_rocksers mom, in your pfrofile in every post. Your girl will probably won't say to you it is embarresing cause she loves you. But please do her (and us by going her) a favor and don't make it such a big piont.

I don't say that it's not embarrassing because I love my Mom, I said it because it doesn't embarrass me at all. I'm glad my mother makes it a big point that she is my Mom so people know that she is here with me and if you screw around with me, she knows right away. That's not the only reason she's on, but that doesn't matter. I might not always need my Mother on these boards, because I am strong and I don't take s**t from anybody, but just in case it get's too hard, she is there and she can stop this, because that is her occupation; being a strong, caring mother.

Blu has every right to instill her values into her child to the degree by which she seems to have been. However, I do find it...rude of her, so to say, to put on airs and criticize the parental protocols of others, as there have clearly been no serious breaches of unruly behavior worth noting here. Consider this constructive criticism, and not an attack, which I would dare not perform.

As for Linda's behavior, she should act by her own volition. She should not be reprimanded as much as reminded that the actions she takes will mold others' opinions on her personality, intelligence, etc. I personally avoid swearing because of the image it produces, not because I believe that someone else would have a problem with it. If someone were to try to inculcate their values upon me, I would (I admit this is somewhat immature, but it's truly a matter of pride) do everything in my power to do exactly the opposite. I suppose there was a time when this was called "sticking it to the man."
