Some parents just whine too much. They get outraged when someone uses a word like "Damn" in front of their kids, but they probably hear "Fu**" at least a dozen of times a day in school or with their friends. Chances are that the kids probably use that word themselves on a regular basis.
My parents have these friends who lately have become some sort of Bible freaks. They won't allow their 10 year daughter to watch a first base make out scene on a movie, but they have no problem at all with her watching 'The Passion Of The Christ'.
