Still? So there's a chance you'd stop hate him on one day?

By the way, how about Mr Deacon - we don't know nothing about your attitude to our dear retired bass man.

1. let's see how long it takes the combined floyd egos to fall out in front of a worldwide television audience of zillions...and the 18mins they get for live8 is about half of a floyd song....i seem to recall that both bowie and u2 only performed a couple of tracks with their 18mins last time...

as for the rodgers/may/taylor comment - YOU don't have the right of veto or sanction on what they choose to do with their lives...grow up you pre-pubescent fuckwit...and let this one go...you can't win/....i don't buy in to the whole Queen+ phenomenom...but i accept their right to do this...you are a childish tw*t - get over it

Sir John thankyou.. did the sensible thing and retired after Freddie's death. It's just a pity the other 2 couldn't carry on with their solo stuff I even better Brian could have joined The Cross. I believe privately John Deacon is against this tour even though some arsehole on here will say "but he gave them his blessing blah blah blah" bullshit did he.

That's right...

Even the post 1984 Floyd without Waters is still better than U2.

Even the worst dickhead is better than you.

:)

This is meant to be ironic, so don't feel offended! :)

So who's the bigger dick? The one who thinks a rock band is better than another... or the one who feels deeply offended because someone thinks a rock band is better than another one?

All of you guys who whine about Paul Rodgers and this tour are pathetic. Are Brian May and Roger Taylor actually digging inside your pockets and forcing you to go to this tour? If you don't have any interest in seeing this tour, then the solution is simple...

DON'T BUY THE FUCKIN' TICKETS! ...and shut the fuck up, and let others go and have a good time.

Hell yeah! Have you heard the song "A Great Day For Freedom", Jingles? It's pretty awersome!

Pink Floyd IS Syd Barrett. PERIOD. Pink FLoyd should NOT be going out as PINK FLOYD without SYD!!!

There can be only one!!! No SYD = no PINK FLOYD.

PERIOD. Anyone who thinks otherwise is an IDIOT.

Now we gonna have PINK FLOYD RIP 1968 instead of QUEEN RIP 1991 for half a year? Fair enough... :)
But I am an idiot and will say that the best work Floyds did AFTER kicking out Syd. There were never any better albums in the entire rock music history like "Wish You Were Here"...

I love that song, Dan.

'Momentary Lapse Of Reason' and 'The Division Bell' are definitely some of the most underated albums ever. 'High Hopes', 'Sorrow', 'What Do You Want From Me', 'On The Turning Away', 'Marooned', 'Learning To Fly' and 'A Great Day For Freedom' are some of the greatest Pink Floyd songs ever. They're high class material just like anything from 'Dark Side Of The Moon' to 'The Wall'.
