This is the main reason why I hate Tom Cruise with a passion... He ruined one of my favorite TV shows ever!
When Tom Cruise started producing the 'Mission Impossible' movies, he pretty much destroyed the concept of the TV series about a team of equally qualified secret agents, and instead Tom Cruise decided that he should be the one and only star of the movie by playing the secret agent carrying all the missions by himself. Someone should remind this idiot that there's already a James Bond. I know for sure that Tom Cruise for once would never consider hiring actors for 'Mission Impossible' that would steal too much screen time from him.
After all, Tom Cruise constantly claimed making all his own stunts for 'Mission Impossible 2', when the a Union of Proffessional Stuntmen crticized Cruise for not giving them credit for their work. That fuckin' moron has head way up his ass.

Tom Cruise is a very closeted gay man, so is Vin Diesel and Matt Le Blanc...I have this news from very reliable sources.
Maybe he's bi I do not know for sure but that Katie Holmes is just as shitty an actress as he is an actor. There isn't one movie he's been in where some other actor or actress carried the film.
He's either one lucky guy or has an agent who knows he stinks and finds out before what the cast consists of before Cruise signs on to do a film. He fucked his way to the top in his early years...(he was quite the twink in those days, honey!)
His ex-wife on the other hand is a great actress but an obesessive lunatic.

I do not get why in today's society, celebrities still feel the need to stage such charades, except that they are concerned about all the homophobes that will stop paying for their films or records (which is a valid point..which you can see just by being on the QZ board, with all the gay bashing threads).

This is what I don't understand...
Most celebrities are without a doubt sick and tired of the media attention. I know they enjoy being in the spotlight to some extent, but I know the great majority of them draw the line between their professional and personal lives. Tom Cruise seems to endlessly talk about his personal and romantic life like if he wanted to prove someone something.
I remember recently listening to 'The Howard Stern Show' and they were making fun of Tom Cruise insane antics on Oprah. Then Artie Lange was making fun of Tom Cruise by jumping on a couch and yelling out loud:
MY NAME IS TOM CRUISE AND I LOVE VAGINAS!!
