"One weekend of Breakthru
Is better 2 hours Queen+"

Sorry- I disagree with you. Breakthru is fun and all but...can't beat the boys in person

I can only realistically afford only one junket, and I chose Breakthru. Now, if Queen+ is coming anywhere near Chicago, I will gladly go see them. However, Queen+ is little more than an A+ cover band performing songs that have been previously performed live. Hypothetically, I would prefer seeing a Brian or Roger solo tour with new material than this nostalgia tour.

To each his own- having seen QPR -it's a great show and I rather spend money on seeing more live shows.

problem with 2 dates is by time they go on sell they will be sold out..

You're not kidding. New York and LA have so many industry people that it will be interesting to see what kind of tickets are available for actual sale to the public. It would be nice if the OIQFC would help out here but am not holding my breath. Perhaps they'll do a LOTTERY (insert shrieking strings from Psycho here.) Has anyone contacted Fan Club Jacky about the possibility of tickets for FC members? (am afraid to hear the response to that question . . . we'll do what we can, remember the Radio Ga Ga video? FC members got to be in that. Couldn't get a ticket to Wembley 1986? FC members got tix for that. Fast forward to 2005: The Brixton Lottery.

If I'm not mistaken, tickets for the Aruba gig were on sale to the public before it was announced on the FC site. Surprise!

Membership has its privileges . . . still waiting to see if that's the case.
I saved Spike's life in 'Nam.

I am concerned about the availabity of tickets for NY and LA as well. I won't hold my breath for the OIQFC to help..I have kept my memebership up...by luck we were able to get the number to call for the UK QPR presale in time to call for tickets...however I would have not known anything about the tour if weren't for queenzone folks, wegotit, and others..and that's having to monitor the net every day to see if I can get information...we received nothing from the OIQFC until after the presale.

My impression is that Jacky tries to do what she can be she is only allowed or given access to limited amount of information. However you would think someone could help her set up the web or her email to accomodate mass emails, purchasing tickets on the site, etc. Many other fan clubs do this- time will tell what will be done for the American OIQFC memebers.

I don't know how in the world you dialed that 800 UK number from the states...people outside of the UK weren't able to do that. I had called Jacky and she said she'd have to figure out some way for us non-UK folks to get priority booking some other way because we couldn't dial that number...
T
I realized the 800 number did not work when I started dialing at 4 am CST. I emailed and then later from work faxed a brief note to OIQFC stating the number given did not work-I faxed at about 3pm London time. About 40 minutes later I received a fax back with 2 alternative numbers-which worked- then it took me about 45 minutes to book 6 shows- you had to do one at a time. Expensive- but worth it in the end.
