best queen albums

now that i have heard material from every album, i think ill make a list of the best studio albums

ive seen a lot of questions about which album to get, so get them in this order:

1. Jazz
2. Made In Heaven
3. Innuendo
4. Queen II
5. Queen
6. A Night At The Opera
7. The Game
8. Sheer Heart Attack
9. News Of The World
10. A Day At The Races
11. The Works
12. The Miracle
13. Hot Space
14. A Kind Of Magic
15. Flash Gordon Soundtrack

IMO this is the best order

just get the highest one that you do not already own

I'd take another listen to those albums and revise your list. Anyone who puts Hot Space ahead of Sheer Heart Attack must have the hearing of Beethoven.

Depends how old you are.

i know a lot of you will disagree about this list, but i had to throw it all together, and i did it when i was really tired

Anyone not owning all queen records beware: Buy MIH only when you own all the other ones. That so many fans think that it is great, is one of the great mysteries in Queen`s career.


But anyway, my list would be: 1) = best / 15) = weakest!

i may not be the best album rater, but anyone with half a brain wouldn't put A Day At The Races before A Night At The Opera

if ur aiming to buy all the albums why not buy them in order then you can listen to queens sound change and develop. just a suggestion.

I like a day at the races more than anato

That list looks completely random.
Still all the albums are enjoyable to a certain extent and that's why we luv 'em

Insulting ppl just beacause they like A Day at the Races better than A Night at the Opera makes no sense, everybody has their own taste..As for me

All these albums are rated excellent in my humble opinion...
A kind of Magic, News of the World and The Game are still very good but not quite uo to the uper ones...Hot Space, well i give Queen lots of credit for having the balls to try something different and the album does show that we are dealing with real musicians but it's just not my taste...Flash Gordon can't be rated as an regular album..As far as Made in Heaven is concerened i always keep it out of those lists because of the special circumstances when it was recorded and it misses some of the harder queen stuff but i love the album because it's simply beautiful...

13 Hot Space (never really listened to it, but "disco-flavored" was all I needed to hear)

....and I didn't bother listening to the Flash Gordon thing and I don't have a copy of Made in Heaven
