Freddie wasnt a great live singer?
He had a lot of power but sometimes his voice just didn't sound so good live. He had a sweetness and style in the studio that was unique.

Queen II contained everything Queen were trying to acheive in the early days. Heavy rock with melody. Multi-layered harmonies and guitar. I would say this and NATO are the true masterpieces - the jewels in the crown !
