Q
Who is looking foreward to this movie? I am... Johnny Depp looks like a woman in the preview that I saw! Ah! So hot! I can't wait for it to come out which is why I'm writing this now even though it's a whole month away!
Madam, you have between your legs an instrument capable of giving pleasure to thousands and all you can do is scratch it. -Sir Thomas Beecham to a lady cellist

I feel bad for Tim Burton.

Christopher Nolan just made a Batman movie that made Burton's look like crap, and now he's directing this silly looking and totally unnecessary remake.

We saw Batman Begins today. I thought it was excellent. I can't say it makes Burton's take look bad, though. It's like comparing apples and oranges.

About Charlie...

Joooohnny Deeeeepp....*arrrrrgggghhh* :-p~~~~
But not as Willy Wonka! ;-)

I'm really looking forward to it. The '70s WWATCF was one of those movies I had to watch at least once a day when I was little and I still love it. I'm interested to see what Tim Burton does with it, and even more interested in Johnny Depp (mmmm) as Willy Wonka but I'm not looking for any miracles.
It's always a worry when you try and remake a movie that defined the childhoods of so many people. I hope he gets it right...

Johnny Depp looked kinda scary in the previews. >.<

Oh yeah, I'm looking forward to it, too...I haven't seen that preview yet, I saw only its poster...I felt Johnny Depp's face kind of odd.
Je vais bien. Estoy bien.

I can't wait to see it. Johnny Depp does look kind of like a woman, though, or Michael Jackson, according to my mom when we walked by the poster today.
Resistance is futile. You are now an orb.

Roald Dahl is my favourite author... apparently he wasn't to thrilled with orginal 1971 version.
but I loved it.

(and by the way, I'm not too sure about this Chocolate Factory movie. Doesn't look as up to par as the good ol' one *ah, Gene!*. We'll just have to see ... or maybe not)

(and a second by the way, I'll take Gene Wilder over Johnny Depp any day. God, that man is so powerful when he yells. It's like a horrible accident, you can't help but watch, it entrances you)

Personally I think Tim Burton's Batman flicks are overacted, and the action scenes seem as fake and unrealistic as those of a Michael Bay movie.

I have to say that I like the dark element of his films, though.

no silly! I meant I'm looking forward to seeing the story again.... :)

I agree with a previous post re. Gene Wilder - he is the true Willy Wonka....

I have heard this version stays closer to the book than the original version, so I am interested to see the movie because of this aspect.
