I know this as prob been asked before, but how and when did freddie get aids. ive always lliked queen, but never known how he got this and which twat give it to him. Did he get it while in New York?

I don't know why people HAVE to know. (I'm not dissing anyone, maybe you want to know for a project, or your just curious) but as Serry said we simply don't know. Well he was helping Keith Harrings with one of Keiths master pieces. Freddie cut himself with a scizor and Keith cut himself with a nail. And by accident their blood mengeld, this way Freddie got Keith's AIDS. a sad story.
I know now by all the logic evidence that Freddie must have contracted the virus early in eighties perhaps 81-82 from those smoky NYC gay clubs, since HIV spread among there first and his drug use, mostly cocaine, but also excessive alcohol and cigarette consumption affecting his immune system inhibiting the replication capability of his white cell's while rapiding the replication of hiv- virions resulted to premature onset of full-blown AIDS @ 86/early 87
(Can be clearly seen from certain footages of him how his facial appearance changed (Fat loss/re-distribution in his cheecks and around eyes due to hiv medication, AZT at first, then Septrim and other immunology stimulants)Its also of high probability he got several different (more aggressively advancing) strains of HIV having unprotected sex.. during the promiscuous years.. yet fastening the deteoration of his immune system which could have had maybe keep the first strain in check and thus prolong his life few years to come.. Seropositivity = (pathogen antibodies detected from blood serum) and seroconversion..(Event when when your immune system develops antibodies) Its guaranteed he had the first symptoms indicating infection within 2-4 weeks after the primary infection, but surpassed the symptoms as normal flu..

No no no!! U cant have AIDS without HIV first.. Hiv is the primary ilness and AIDS the last Lethal state of HIV infection when your Immune system cant handle infections and pathogens any longer and looses the bitter battle..
10 yrs is the best average.. in practise its something much varying from 2 to 20 yrs.. or even more for so called "LTNP" - Long term non progressors...

Not everyday.. I guess mostly at weekends.. prior to going out to clubs.. it kept his spirit up and creative engine going.. and of course in bigger parties.
