I think that REALLY was a red card play. It was too violent! Some people get red cards for much less than that...
how was it violent? I watched the reply over 50 times, he was protecting himself from the collision, if he didnt put his arms up, both players would have hit head on, doing worse damage.

That was not a red card play, coloccini didnt even see him till that last second and put his arms up to block himself from getting hit, thats why the ref gave him a yellow card, as you saw both players running in the same direction full blast, if Coloccini were to change directions Maorales would have hit him and got a yellow card.
Kinda sucks about Saviola, dunno why he did that kick, Reafeal Marquez is one of my favorites, sucked how he did that hard tackle on Aimar.
if that's not a red card play, then i've been following the wrong sport....
and people in the stadium must be wrong too, after all, Coloccini was jeered everyone time he took the ball, and with reason, I guess 'Fair Play' is nothing to Argentinians, Saviola hits a Mexican without a ball after they took it away from him, Coloccini hits another guy with no ball (and he saw him, and he went with his elbows up, if it was no fault, then why even show a yellow card?!?!) , and I think Zanetti stepped on Borgetti when there was no ball too, but nothing, so I guess the Argentinian jersey has more weight with Fifa than Mexico, but we are getting used to that and we will play against the referees too now

ok, if we go with that reason, then fuck the Mexican and protect yourself, hit the other guy, open his face, hit his arm, and send him off the field with injuries, at least you are ok!!!
hey, that's a good excuse to hit players now, I hope we learn now and Mexico does that, but I really doubt it as we do try to follow the "Fair Play" rule

I hope the Femexfut complains to FIFA and this gets looked at, this kind of players shouldn't play like that , no matter if they are from Argentina or Trinidad & Tobago, or if they play in the best clubs in the world or the 3rd division teams, this isn't football

I did not , as I'm a Chivas-hater, I hate them bastards and to tell you the truth, i was a little glad they ran like little girls.
But I know about the incidents that happen and how much the players were hit by Boca's players, and how the referee had to stop the game because people were thwroing objects to the goalkeeper and that a Boca fan went in the field and hit a Chivas player
did you watch it? :P

Yeah, the whole thing turned really nasty.
Batista and Palermo both expelled for agression, the whole game being suspended and the whole situation out of the referees hands, then Boca's coach Benitez spitting Batista as he was taken out of the field by the police, and those two Boca fan who jumped the fenced and went to punch and kick Batista.
A sad day for footie indeed.

Last year the players from Boca Juniors snubbed the awards ceremony at the Copa Libertadores final when they lost to Once Caldas. Later on when reportes asked Carlos Bianchi why they didn't go to the podium to recieve their silver medals, all he said was that he didn't know they were supossed to be awarded.
That made him look like a complete liar because when Bianchi won the Libertadores Cup 3 times, the defeated team would always receive silver medals before awarding the champion.
Even more ridiculous was when Benitez was asked by reporters about why he's spit on the player from Guadalajara, and was told that it was caught on tape. Then he went to say he didn't remember spitting on him.

yeah, hilarious guys , can't believe the stuff they come up with
he said it was probably his age that made him forget about him spitting

No English playes playing yet Brazil, Germany and Argentina's players are all having no summer break.
Yet when we lose in the quarters next year Sven will still blame the long hard season. Gimme a break!
