I would have done the same thing he did, and I'm sure lots of people will, it's a human reaction to brace yourself before impact, esp in a sport where you have no body pads, If you watch the reply from all 4 sides you can see that boht players knew they were gonna hit each other running full blast like that, coloccini just put his arms up to protect himself, as you he put's them up to in a motion to block a punch in a way, every one thinks he put his arms out to hit, not to block
I agree about Saviloa, dumb to do a spin kick, Also Refeal, who just did that foul becuase he seemed pissed, but not about Coloccini.
Yea, I agree about that Boca thing, they are sore losers, Go River =-)

4. Why aren't England, Wales, Scotland and the two Irelands involved?
Simple answer is Wales, Scotland and the two Irelands have never won the World Cup or, Like Greece did, win Euro2004. And although England did win the World Cup, they dont qualify for this tournament as they won said cup before this tournament was started.
I think that REALLY was a red card play. It was too violent! Some people get red cards for much less than that...
how was it violent? I watched the reply over 50 times, he was protecting himself from the collision, if he didnt put his arms up, both players would have hit head on, doing worse damage.
Do ya really believe that?? I think it was a just to knock out the player... a dark red card if you ask me. Same goes for Riquelme in the first half. What an asshole is he. Pushing away team-mates by a free-kick. Who does he think he is... He's only a player of Villereal, and lost the UEFA CUP Quarter final from AZ. Anyone heard once of AZ??
During the match Mexico won my heart. It’s a shame that the weakest team reached the final.

Looks like I'm not the only one who believe's that, a Ref did to and only gave a yellow card.
Don't get me wrong, Mexico is one of the teams I always root for unless they playe USA/Argentina, I always watch Mexican futbol league, Americas are a team I follow and borgetti is a player I always watch.

Thanks for that :)
now we hope we can win against Germany :P
but this one is a great competition for Mexico, playing Brazil, Argentina, Greece AND Germany on the same tournament is not something everyone can say , and we beat Brazil, tied Greece and tied with Argentina (it's still a tie if i'm not mistaken, even though they lost in penalties) , and if we can beat Germany, we've made a great tournament, Mexico is getting better and better, before teams used to say we were the 'easy' ones, but now we are earning their respect :)

I'm feel sorry for you Mex.. But Germany played well and I think they deserved their 4-3 win. Well, the real winner was the crowd.
Brasil was superb in the final. Don't know if someone can stop them for becoming World Champion next year.
