is liking queen sad

im only 15 and people my age (apart from an odd minority) think that me liking queen in a big way. (as in having all thier albums posters of them owning a brian may guitar and seeing them live) is very sad and i should get a life and get a girlfriend

what do you guys think

It happens. And it happens to me...in fact not so much anymore but it used to...when I was REALLY young. I'm the same age as you are now: 15 but I've liked Queen for quite a while and I remeber in my younger years of school poeople used to tease me. To some degree people still do now...because they don't understand why i like Queen so much. But I met my most amazing and wonderful boyfriend through Queen...I mean in that respect...It's not too shabby *does cheesy grin* :)

Liking Queen is not sad...

Thinking that liking Queen is sad, is FUCKIN' SAD.

Maby they are good and nice people, but in the way they tell you, you should have the same taste as they, they are just stupid:)

When I was a 15-year-old Queen fan back in 1990, I too was teased about my liking such an “old” band, and when Freddie died in 1991 the teasing only got worse… my life was made a living hell that November day… However, all that teasing only strengthened my resolve and I believe that if you get enjoyment and pleasure from Queen’s music then that is all that matters. What has it got to do with anyone else? I know all those ignorant comments are hurtful, but at the end of the day that's all they are - ignorant comments from ignorant people.

We (where I life) get respect as being Queen fans. Ask Headlonger.

BTW getting a girlfriend can always be handy.

Maybe I have got chance, but my best friends started to listen Queen after I did. Few years ago, after a summer holidays I came to my class and told them I heard a voice of the greatest singer of the world. I was surprised, but they were animated after we watched together my favourit, I want to break free video. I still love Queen the most, but they are happy when we are listening them together. And if someone is not I always start to dance and speak like Freddie did and everybody is laughing. You should make the same. Tell them how wonderful are Queen songs and show them for example aforementioned I want to break free. I presume they will fall in love with Freddie like we did! And if not, they have not got a good feeling for music. Keep on mind it! You are right if you love Freddie. I think he is very outstanding.

You should get a girlfriend anyway. More people like Queen in the world than almost any other artist.

Can i Just say..im proud to like queen and if anyone says anything to me about liking them is sad and that i dont take a blind bit of notice..And do you know why!! cos its none of there fucking business...Besides music is personal and that...Just cos they proberly like Britney spears and J- Lo hahahaha!!!
