Queen have provided the roots for much of the market currently. its upsetting to see how much such great musical influences have churned out a load of shite in the majority of new artists today... they obviously weren't listening to the music properly
therefore NO you are not sad, but maybe a little attention-seeking :-P

Eh NO!! Okay maybe being OBSESSED with Queen-their music, the members lives, Freddie, is a tad bit sad- but not their music. You have the right to listen to whatever music you like . But you should get a girlfriend. Definitly.Then you can spread Queenmania to more people!!!;-) Im 15 too but people in my year in school have all accepted Queen. At first no one knew who they were but by naming off a few classics- We are the champions, we will rock you- people were surprised and impressed that Queen wrote such songs. People will always be a bit prejudiced about Freddie and his death from AIDS (at least people my age)- some of my so-called friends sneered when they found out this, but all you can say is fuck them because they're just racist,ignorant fools. Don't be put off Queen because they dont have a new release in the top ten along with tripe like Crazy Frog. People our age will always be mocked for liking 'old bands'. So just fuck them darling...but get a girlfriend while you're at it.
Only today did I hear a group of 12-15 year olds running in the street playing about and as they past my window and ran chasing each other down the street they all burst out into a short blast of I Want To Break Free.
Of course liking Queen isn´t sad, it´s great!! You could say liking Queen is an adquired taste, not all people like it.

most of the my mates(and they are what you'd describe as 'cool')know many Queen songs and we often have sing-songs in class,also my best mate and i are great Queen lvoers,theres nothing bwetter then singing Bohemian Rhapsody and hitting that very high note on 'MEEEEEE!!!!'
and then thers also the mystery paintings of the front of Queen 2,which was amazing,shame I couldn't get an image but someone has given alot of time to it and its excellent,got the countors of Freddies face very well!

I know EXACTLY what u mean, i'm 13 and everyone at my high school, again like you, apart from the minority think i'm a freak for liking queen. But you just have to think what crap these people like ! The last time someone made fun of me for liking queen i just said to them dryly, "Daniel, why do I have to suffer for you're musical ignorance" he's so thick he didn't have a clue what i meant, that shut him up !! Remember you're individuality, stuff what the other "clones" think, let them have their burberry caps and chavvy jewelry u can have queen. i know which one i'd rather have !
