Indeed. It was the same setlist as the other two stadium concerts. It was a very good performance! although the sound was a bit echo-like.

Same setlist as Cologne I think, no suprises.

As in Cologne, some surprises on the auto-cues... Plengel said that Sleeping On The Sidewalk was shown on the autocue, and Niek and I saw Is This The World We Created in Cologne....

Soundcheck included Seven Seas Of Rhye, Now I'm Here, Bo Rhap, I'm In Love With My Car and some other tracks which I can't remember right now....

back from arnhem now....parking at the stadium was very expensive...8 euros...we saw much people sitting or standing in front of the stadium...we thought it will be an open air concert but it wasn´t...and it seemed that they don´t use the complete stadium, even 3/4, but the concert was nearly sold out. the setlist was the same like cologne. brian changed his guitar very early, seems he had some problems with the sound. brian thanks the audience to keep queen alive and after love of my life it was again a very emotional moment for him.we´ve got a sitting place and in my opinion the accustic was sometimes not so good. the audience was great, much songs were singing by them and the band was in a perfect performance and joins the concert every little moment. i think arnhem was great, but cologne was better and a little bit bigger .-)...perhaps the flair of an open air concert give more as a concert in a hall.....

Queen rocks and thanks for the tour

cheers

Great show indeed, but somehow I got the feeling that Rotterdam was better. (I can only judge the shows I've seen of course)
Overall the show was great, the drums were very heavy! Roger gave it all again. Brian had some problems with his guitars I thought but did his very best of course. Amazing how some songs still touch him so much. Though I stood right at the endcorner of the catwalk the big screens were great. The images of the moving cams were awesome and the lightshow really paid off on those screens. One of the cameras turned and twisted beautifully and seemed to swing all around those who were on the catwalk showing the audience in all it's glory. The show started at 20.30 and finished at 23.00 hrs. Oh, and it was sooo hot in there... right at the front I saw 4 persons lifted over the fence and guided away because they would collapse. That makes one feel it's quite a shame one cannot take a bottle of water into the venue. We entered the stadium at 17.30 so we were in there for nearly six hours and not everyone is able or willing to leave their spot and buy something to drink.
It was a great show, of course. If I'm not going to see them in e.g. the USA... this could have been my last Queen (+PR) show... Therefore I took less pics and watched the guys and enjoyed the show as much as I could. Really paying attention to the way they played, especially Brian and Roger. God, do they ROCK ! A sincere thank you to Brian, Roger, Paul, Spike, Danny and Jamie for taking this show on the road and to their fans. For the older fans like me it's an opportunity to see them live again, but for the younger fans it must be an ultimate dream come true to hear those songs played live perhaps for the first time.

Hi there, well finally saw the first show of the tout and I have to admit it was F%#$&@^%%$ great. The fun those guys have is so great it makes you forget the little snippets. But hey I also like Frank Zappa and as Brian told us he simply can't make mistakes on his own playing because it his playing. The problem Brain had with TYMD was simple, he broke a string and that did gave a great momentum when he tried to change guitars very fast but he was to late and the whole band was waiting for the guitar chord and it was complete silence (for a second). Well a pity that there where no suprises off course and indeed the sound was overal not very good (in fact for long times I didn't hear the guitar of Jamie and the bass was not very clear to hear). You could hear that they really did a lot of work in the vocals.

Some other point I was wondering about, I sent three messages to the sms board but is there somebody who controlled which sms is shown and which not ? And if your message is not shown then you dont have to pay? Because otherwise that is a F^&^^& ripp of, jut like the parking fee, the same parking I stand on for more than an hour to get away.

Anyway had a great evening thank's Queen
Have a great day Mark http://www.myspace.com/lostloversnederland

I agree about the bottles, it's a really stupid rule. I was near to collapse during the second part of the concert in Leipzig. Luckily in most venues (for example Frankfurt and Prague) you're at least allowed to take 0.5 l bottles with you. And in Munich they were selling drinks even to people in the first rows, that was a very good idea.

Just added the one video I recorded in Arnhem. A bit blurry so don't expect quality :-)
When I turned my cam to one of the screens the Japanese Freddie impersonator appeared, I did not know he was there too! Funny! I've seen that guy at more gigs so it was a surprise that just at that moment he was filmed, hehe.

He Guys,

I had a great time, but Ahoy was much, much better. Brian had (as stated earlier) a lot of guitar problems in the beginning, so he lost some of his confidence and some solo's were not as good as in Rotterdam (IWTBF, AKOM, Guitar-solo) ... I stood just before you Rien, we had a nice view at the catwalk didn't we!

The sound in the Gelredome is not good, and a lot of echoes, soun reflections troubled the guys. You could see them stay more at the main stage so their monitor-sound was probably better there.

But nontheless: probably my last show, so I enjoyed it anyway ... but Brixton was just so special and Rotterdam was absolutely the most excellent one I saw ... (and of course: the first time I heard ABTD and Wishing Well live, so that was cool too) ... and indeed it was so hot in there (my shirt is still wet (and salty))

I am planning to make a page with pics with just a small logo. I've sent some pics to Brian just now and also for that they must be preserved in some way.
