I don't uderstand something :( ...

This song is long 10 minutes, is more instrumental track and it's boring but no one want to share this because is too rare (people recording that song on a Queen Convention in Holland), right?
So, the complete Golders Green is more rare than that? If yes, why someone upload the concert but no one upload this demo?

Sorry for my english but I wait an answer!

Another thing.... if I have Two Words Apart, and I share, you kicked me out Queenzone?

Thanks again!

Don't worry Ale_Pisa, it's not something that is logical. It's just the way people who have rarities act. Selfishly. In a way, I understand completely. They use the rarities to trade for other rarities. That's why even though Golders Green complete has just been shared, it was in mp3. Those that have it in flac use it for trading purposes. That's just the way trading works.

BUT. And that's a big but :)

This song may be quite rare, but it is hardly worth holding on to for trading, when a) the quality is likely to be rather low (if it was recorded at a convention) and b) it is boring :)

This is precisely the sort of thing those holding rarities should release to the public. By all means keep the Houston video and the rare boots, but stuff like this is hardly important.

And finally, no. If you upload Two Worlds Apart, you will not get banned or kicked off or whatever. Richard owns this site, and he encourages people to share Queen stuff. He is not a rarities hoarder, and even if he was, I can't see how anyone could get kicked off for sharing. It would be ridiculous.

So if you have it, share it I say. Boring or not. Let everyone judge for themselves.

Maybe I just dont know what the bloody freakin heck I am talking about here......but....if (and its a big if, because I have never been in such a situation)......if I had had something.....like a ultra rare Queen demo or bootleg, that I had looked for for years........uh, I'd just go ahead and share it......seriously. That kind of attitude (I've looked for this for years, so you cant have it) I just dont get....

Well, I guess I am not an 'elitist trader', sorry...
I'll take you to the Seven Seas of Rhye

I've got some rarities which I have choosed to share here on QZ, but some of the rarities has I choosen not to share here because the one I've got it from said I'm not allowed and I respect that and some because it is nice to have in other trades and some of the rarities I got in return I'm maybe gonna share here, and I think and hope other traders act like that aswell.

Oh, not this crap again.

Niek is right, Tatter is right and so is Jeroen. I'm also nog going to share my demo of John Deacon's 22 minutes Prophet's Song improvisation. Those people worked their asses off to get such rare things. If you want rare stuff, you must work for it, otherwise forget it!

Some people, like me, want to trade. If everything is shared, why does the word 'trading' exists then? Trading is fun, let's keep it that way.

If you like trading - then do it, but what's the reason to shout on every street "I have this, I have that, but I won't share it!"?!

If I have something what I wouldn't make available to download - I'm not teasing everyone around about it!

(Please note that I've heard Face It Alone a couple of times, my friend has this, so don't think I need it)

Actually, I joked about the John Deacon demo. But it's the principe of trading. I know many people brag about their rare stuff, just let them.

Dear Rick, I think you're right! This is the spirit of trading, rare for rare, good for good ecc. If you have a rarities ok, you can share or you can trade as you want but Serry said great words! Someone here requested a demo called Face It Alone, so I think it's more simple to say NOTHING than I've but I don't share! Some people here believe that this demo is rare but... they're wrong! It's not rare, is too long and too "boring" and it's recording from a convention, if I remember well the audio of this demo is not good at all. Song like Self Made Man are rare? I think it's rare like Face It Alone, like Robbery and like My Secret Fantasy! I know people that BUY this demo some time ago and know someone share this in this site! Now I see some rare stuff in the ANNOUNCE section, and people share for... nothing! I think that we can't speak about what's is rare and what's is not because here are people like Serry, Martin, YV and few other who know that difference, but there's people, many other, that don't know what is OFFICIAL!

Sorry for my english, I try to explain what I've in my mind, don't kill me! :)

Last thing, why don't create a wishlist full of rarities for share with other rarities?

This last words It's not good...

Oh go on.... Deaky going off!! That'd be cool :))))

But seriously Rick, you do have a point. I agree. Trading is fun - the chase is fun. Getting it all for free would be boring.

The only stick in the mud are the braggers. They should either put up or shut up I think.

As for this particular song, I don't think it sounds like it's worth keping rare. I've never heard it, but from what I've read, I'm hardly going to chase it now...

I can't believe we still have discussions like this one after all these years :-) Time to grow up, my friends! Don't be jealous. The people who have this demo (if anybody actually has it) must have got it somewhere. Just follow their path and you will get it too. No need to beg in public forums. Amount of unreleased stuff you get from 90% depends on how much effort you invest. If Niek invested half a year of his time to get it, fine, he deserves the song :)

I don't have this song because I simply haven't even tried to get it. And I'm pretty sure I could get it if I wanted. But I'm simply not interested. How many times have you listened to the 12 min. version of Stealin'? I did probably twice. 90% of you don't want the song because it would be a great masterpiece. You only want it "to have it".

That's right. That's what they call "greed". Many people share stuff on QZ and it's still not good, because they always ask "Could you upload this concert or this demo too?" Why for God's sake? Be happy with what you have or what you get.

I listen to it quite often, love it. But I think I'm not like many others :P

Yes, think Mr Scully and Rick make a good point here. I myself have gigabytes of stuff I haven't even seen or heard more than once, (if completely at all).

It's all too easy getting caught up in the collecting for collectings sake. I try to keep a balance. Some things I am simply not interested in. Brian's solo demos for example. Rare Queen demos though, that's another story :)

I really don't see the fuss. It's not your song anyway.

They only want to hoard rare things because it gives 'em power. If all of a sudden everybody had an mp3 of "Face it Alone", they wouldn't be able to hold it over your head. It's like the nights where my sister asks me to do the dishes (in return, she'll cook). If I've already fed myself, there's no reason for me to do the dishes (I do 'em anyway because I get so bored).

I really don't see any point in this debate, it's just another mp3 like the 100's of other that have been shared here. And if it's so boring, then bloody put it up so people can judge for themselves. I don't think it's worth hoarding from other people just because it 'took you ages to find'. Took me ages to do a simple re-edit of I Want It All, but I shared it anyway?

Aaaaaaaaanyway... what key is it in anyway?
J
And another thing, this whole "Two Worlds Apart" thing. That's a joke song isn't it? (you know - the kind that gets released on Octember 32nd, like John Deacon's solo album...)
