Much closer to the book than the old movie. Excellent film.

I loved it! I think I might go back again (only this time with my familY) and I definately want to buy the soundtrack. I came into the movie assuming that I wasn't going to enjoy it but I was blown away. Definately the best movie I've seen this year.

I think it's one of the best of the year.

I'm withholding my judgement for "Best movie I've seen all year" until I've seen "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" this November, when it comes out in theatres.

Out of all the movies I've seen so far this year (which was only 3), I'd have to say that they were all pretty to really good, or funny even!

I saw "Hitch", "Howl's Moving Castle" (dub version), and now "Charlie And The Chocolate Factory", and they were all great! "Hitch" and "Charlie..." would have to be tied as the funniest I've seen all year!

I loved "Howl's Moving Castle." I didn't know until after the movie that Howl was voiced by Christian Bale (it was the dubbed version, of course). It's weird that the only two cartoon characters I ever had a crush on were both voiced by him. He is also very attractive himself!

What was the other, if I may ask?
S
Well, Howl (obviously- because he was such a pretty boy), and Thomas, from Pochahontas (the loser who shoots Kocoum). I loved his hat.

I remember the latter movie. I don't remember the character though. This is the Disney version you're talking about, right?
S
Yeah, the Disney version.

I want to see it again (3rd time!) but everyone thinks I'm crazy and won't go with me. I'm so misunderstood!
Resistance is futile. You are now an orb.

Actually, I wasn't referring to "Hitchhiker's..."

I was referring to the Will Smith comedy, "Hitch", about a guy named Hitch (who Will plays)
