Freddie already knew he was on borrowed time - he also knew that Innuendo would not be the final queen album - why do you think he recorded those final tracks for MIH? he told the band to carry on working to complete the album.
he was so ill in 1989 that the MIRACLE album was titled to reflect that it was a 'miracle' he was around to record it...he must've got a slight reprieve during late 89/early90 to record much of Innuendo

When i hear that freddie was terribly ill in 1988/1989 i find it incredible cause of how well he looked in those years.
I know for photos and the music videos he would have had make up on etc but he looked like a typical guy in his early 40's.
Its only really at the times of the Innuendo album it became blatantly obvious something was wrong.

I've always thought it incredibly ballsy of Freddie to record the video for "These Are The Days Of Our Lives". Although his official statement regarding his HIV/AIDS status wasn't issued until the day before his death, it was clearly obvious in TATDOOL that something was wrong - and surely he knew that. "I'm Going Slightly Mad" portrays the same frail, gaunt Freddie, but his appearance was covered up fairly well. TATDOOL, on the other hand, seems to be Freddie coming clean, having showed the world what he truly looked like at that time, instead of camouflaging with heavy makeup and special lighting. I

but 'days of our lives' was released AFTER his death....so it wasn't as if he was 'coming clean' about anything...he 'came clean' after the event

Freddie had full-blown AIDS in 1989, but looked alright to me while makeup free. The makeup just made him pale.

What I really want to know is if he thought You Don’t Fool Me, A Winter’s Tale, and Mother Love would really be on a new album, if he thought it’d be a single/EP, and if he knew much about the tracklist of Made In Heaven, or even if it was an album called ‘Made In Heaven’

I think Freddie had other problems than plastic surgeons. Thats very rude. The guy was deadly ill by 1989 and he hardly expected to be around to record their epitaph called Innuendo which was an amazing album. "Was It All Worth It" was clearly planned as a reflective goodbye song - same as SHow must go on. Hard to believe what he went through not even physical but mentally

I don't think he would be too pleased about reworked tracks of his solo stuff. But if there is really nothing more in the vaults (which only GB knows!) then MIH was done tastefully. I think the promotion of it being advertised as "all new tracks" was a bit misleading..... it was only about half an album
