These Are The Days of Our Lives was released as a single in the US on Freddie’s birthday (early September) in 1991, wasn’t it?? I’ve always assumed the video (whilst a different edit with some animation) was released at the same time?

I think it was released before his death but around GH2 I think.

Just checked on google - it was indeed released in the US on 5 Sept 91.

But this was the second version of the video with lots of visual effects not the video version we all know. Freddie was not shown too often there de to his appearance I guess

I know for photos and the music videos he would have had make up on etc but he looked like a typical guy in his early 40's.


Its only really at the times of the Innuendo album it became blatantly obvious something was wrong.

His face was swollen due to his medication and he gained some weight.
