yeah...i was kinda surprised when she used 'slut'...but thank god that confirms im no longer reading a children's book! WooT!

uh-huh...i thought it was ok...kinda rushed, but kinda worth the wait. i got a tear when dumbly died (as opposed to the depression i went through when sirius died o__O), but after reading some good theories in here about it, im having some second thoughts...just have to explain them to my 19 year old brother who is utterly disappointed that he died...oh god...

I didn't cry when Dumbledore died though I almost did. I think I was too tired to cry. But I sure did cry when Siruis died. He was my favorite person. I personally think Snape still has a chance.

I have a friend who lives in Fairbanks (AK) and she camped out in front of the bookstore for 28(?) hours before it came out! Woot!

I don't want to know how you feel it in detail until I'll finish it. :P
I just bought it yesterday and I've just begun to read it.
Je vais bien. Estoy bien.

Maybe Snape was under the Imperius Curse? Either by Voldemort or by Dumbledore himself????

Can't see it, Snape is an Occlumens, he'd be strong enough to fight the Imperius Curse. I go with the Dumbledore-wanted-him-to-do-it theory.
God wants you to send me some money. "Seven spades doubled, vulnerable, making seven? You BITCH."

Don't forget that Snape did make an Unbreakable Vow near the beginning of the book.

Perhaps the power of the vow made him do it. He never wanted to make that vow in the first place, if I recall correctly.

He didn't HAVE to make it though. I mean, it helped him gain Belatrix's trust, but seeing as he already had the trust of Dumbledore AND Voldemort, as well as Narcissa, I don't really think that ridding himself of Belatrix's scepticism was more important than Dumbledore's life. He essentially volunteered to do it, IMO. I like the theory of Dumbledore asking him to though.
Playful as a pussycat.

Yeah, I've been moving to that theory myself. One thing is Dumbledore knew about Malfoy's mission - maybe there was something that would happen if Malfoy ended up doing it, and to stop that Snape needed to do it?

One of the things is Dumbledore finally giving Snape the DatDA job... It seems like it was to cement some kind of deal.

My stupid theory:

Dumbledore's not dead.
He fakes beeing dead, and Snape knows it (He's good in fact!!)
After all, when Hagrid bring Dumbledore's body, nobody could see it, remember?

Snape decided to fake kill Dumbledore for escape of the Unbreakable VOw.

Ok that's stupid!
Please excuse my terrible English

What with the darker themes, swear words, and other things...
