The other day I was looking for some music that would be a fine accompaniment to a balmy, lazy summer evening, So I bought a Santana compilation and 'The Essential Sly and the Family Stone'. Both have served thier purpose very well, and the latter may remian on heavy rotation for a long time to come (wonderfully funky stuff).

Also, I finally got raound to buying the Flash Gordon soundtrack, (a good 3 years after having bought the rest of Queen's studio albums). Most of it works as interesting background music (the use of dialogue from the film keeps the interest levels from dipping). Aside from the 2 'proper' songs on there (Flash's Theme and The Hero) I also really like 'Football Fight' and 'In the death cell'.

I will be going to school in Texas you know in the fall and at some point I think I will have to learn a language. Of the languages they have I can't decide between German and Spanish but I will probably pick Spanish just because people always expect me to know it since I'm Venezuelan.

Yesterday I bought Led Zeppelin "Early Days & Later Days" 2CD, I bought it because I've never had any of their records, so this is my first Led Zeppelin record I buy, has great songs on it like "Kashmir", "Whole Lotta Love" and of course "Stairway To Heaven"......when I heard some of the songs on this record I can see the influence they had on Queen...a couple of songs remind me a bit of Queen.

Nena "Willst Du mit mir geh'n". I love Nena but this album sucks. :(
