Everyone, just look... how many of the announce topics from the past months contain a constructive conversation about the content (quality, performance, etc.) of the material being shared?
That is very true. But do you think that part of the reason for this is the assumption that the sharing forum is 'just' to post ANNOUNCE messages? It seems that whenever someone posts something about anything else, they get jumped on for posting in the wrong topic.
I don't mean to say that this is the major reason. I think there is a ot more to it than that. But I do think we need to change the perception around this particular forum. Conversations about the various boots belong in this forum, not in any other one.
But Bob! If you start off an attempt at intelligent conversation in this forum, as Lester did in the serious forum, I'll certainly jump in with my two cents. (assuming I have the show you talk about :))
