Hi, I was wondering what everyones favourite religions are. I quite like buddahs and sikhs, they keep themselves to themselves and stuff, but i dont lik muslims and christians. What are your best?

Personally- I am interested in few religions as philosophies- there are many wise and beautiful things being said, written... but the practice and the institutions- I agree with Niek there. It's probably not the idea that I hate- but all the institutions. Could change my mind if there were more people like Dalai Lama... I think I'm more into Eastern religions and philosophies. here in the West we live too much in our heads... And are completely disconected with our souls and TRUE feelings- basically with ourselves. I hate religions that kill individualism... one of them I was brought up in- takes time to shake it off...

Personally I hate the fact that certain people take aim at christianity just for the fact that there's a lot of religious hypocrits and zealots, which by NO MEANS reflect the philosophy and morality of the majority of christians?
I know that when people like Jerry Falwell or Pat Robertson talk and spread hatred in the name of christianity, a lot of people take it as ALL CHRISTIANS AGREE, and although I do agree that a lot of religious leaders give christians a bad name, I also think that it's WRONG from non-christian or non-religious people to get the idea that all christians follow the same ideology.
I think I really need to remind you as well that there's a lot of TRUE christians who help with charities, and dedicate their lives to aid those in need. I need to remind you as well that the majority of them don't do it with the main purpose of spreading their faith, but because they know it's the christian thing to do.
Of course, when good christians go to third world nations to help people suffering from illness, famine, and poverty, the media doesn't give two shits, but whenever Pat Robertson or Jerry Falwell open their dirty mouth, the immediatly put it all over the news.
