I use quite a few different programs for my music. Two of the main ones are Cubase SX and Adobe Audition. Most of the piano is real (I have a digital piano, So I didn't need a microphone to record it. I can plug it right into the computer). But, There ARE little bits of it that are programed. For the instruments that I don't have/don't know how to play (and that is all but piano) I mainly use VSTi.

Dan, heres something you might wanna check out. Its probably the best sounding "guitar" keyboards sound I've heard yet - and I am a guitar player!! It might help when you are looking for some different guitar sounds for any songs you do.

If you click on downloads - Listen , you should find some video demo's there to show you what can be achieved

Ah yes, Real Guitar. I LOVE that program. I use it quite a bit!
Here's a sample of a song I used it on: http://daburcor.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/song_fragment.mp3
*By the way, You have to right click and "Save as..." to be able to download it.
