Freddie was allergic to morphine according to Jim Hutton so that kinda casts a shadow on all of your comments.

hey guys, finally i start reading the book "mercury and me' and i read the pages when Freddie performed at Live Aid and the excitement he had that day, specially because it was the first time that Hutton watched his performance.
