Really Under Pressure is a great song for this situation, many other things would be too negative. Under Pressure is a positive song "Why can't we give love just one more chance?"
"Please buy my upcoming album... I need the money"

Led Zep's When The Levee Breaks would be more apt.

no he makes a good point actually, those lyrics sort of go with the situation. the pressure pushing down from the hurricane and the immediate situation has put people on streets and split families in 2. etc etc. it goes with it.

sorry but a theme for a hurricane?

"Theme" was an incorrect word for me to use. I just thought the lyrics matched the situation, similar to the song Alan Jackson wrote after 9/11.
Yes, it was a worthwhile experience.

Two other Queen songs that fit the situation are:

These Are The Days Of Our lives

...Those were the days of our lives
The bad things in life were so few

and

The Show Must Go On

...I have to find the will to carry on

Mentioning The Show Must Go On may sound callous of me at this point, but that isn't how I mean it. The Show Must Go On lyrics have helped me through a number of crises. The show does go on whether you like it or not. And thank heaven for that. Getting back to "normal" is critical. Never apologize for making a hurricane survivor/rescuse worker laugh. There will be plenty of time for them to feel sad.
