By the way, Wiley, I am looking for the Mexican pressing of the INNUENDO CD and also for the LIVE AT THE BOWL Mexican CD sampler by Loft Magazine. Can you get hold of these?

thank you. I like this track and long thought this is one of Brians finst guitar licks.

I used to have the Innuendo one some years ago. It has de vinyl edits, right?. For about 7 or 8 years being a Queen fan I thought Bijou lasted only for a little over one minute. Really! hehe :).

I haven't seen that version of the CD recently. Just imports. The one I have at the moment I bought it as a discount but it was made in Holland.

I should try to see if they have the mexican one in some other store. I'll get back to you if I see one (I mean, two, of course, hehe :))

Hey Thorsten! Nice to see you post once in a while. Hmmm, actually, I think that you post more than me, hehe :). Anyway, check it out, in case you haven't already.

I still remember the first time I listened to that CD and was surprised to hear the different version. I was in a cousin's house in Mexico City. She's not a Queen fan or anything but she had bought the CD because Heaven for Everyone had been in one of those "NOW, that's what I call music..." collections and she liked it.

I was staying at her place. In fact, I'd been there for some days already but I hadn't checked her CD's. I was playing with her computer and then wanted to listen to music. I went straight to that song, since it was my favorite at that time. Two seconds later, my jaw dropped after hearing those extra voices in the beginning. I already knew about that version but had never listened to it. It was quite a nice surprise. :)

In response to Wilki's comment on that magazine, I've never seen it. I'll try to look around later and maybe I get lucky. It's not easy to get rare Queen stuff around here. There are almost NO second hand record shops. I only know about one here in Monterrey (NO, I don't have the Monterrey video either).

Well, let's see if something good comes out of this.

See ya,

Wiley

I just checked my CD and it has a Capitol matrix number (DIDP-088139) like Wilki said. Actually, I was kinda surprised by it having almost no writings on the CD edge. It only has "EMI Records Ltd. (c) 1995 Queen" and "7243 8 36088".

The other CD I have (regular mexican edition, I believe) has lots of other things: "(p) 1995 The copyright in the sound recording is owned by Queen Productions Ltd. under exlusive license to EMI Records Ltd. (c) 1995 Queen Productions Ltd. All rights of the producer and of the owner of the work reproduced reserverd. Unauthorised copying, hiring, renting, public performance and broadcasting of this record prohibited. LC 0299. Made in Mexico. 7243 8 36088 2 9 bel BIEM", which is A LOT, hehehe :). I can't believe I wrote it all... :S
Matrix no. EMI UDEN 8360882 @ 2..

Well, that's what it reads.

***Wilki: Does your copy also has a different quality of the printing ON the CD??

Yap, the CD has a different printing to the regular Parlophone issue - it lacks almost all of the "small print". And the back sleeve has only the number "219" below the barcode numbers.
