As much as I hate Ronaldo, he shouldn't have wakled for that tackle. Don't care hwat you say, he didn't even touch the fella (Sinclair was it, I don't remember?). Anyway, whoever ran their studs down Rooney's shins should have walked too. Oh how I hate Steve Bennett. He's a memeber of my gym actually, along with Barry Knight. Maybe I'll attempt to have a few words in the steam room.
And as for Robben - poor bastard. The rules state a referee should use common sense in that situation... didn't look like it to me.

That tackle was horrendous...you don't think it was a TAD risky going in for a takle like that? He went straight for the legs!
Ronaldo is an overpayed ignorant young idiot who doesn't know what he's doing. So he can do a bit of skill, SO WHAT? Half of the time when he tries to show off he slips..

Maybe, but the term "common sense" very rarely seems to prevail with referees, not least Steve Bennett to name one very huge culprit. At the end of the day, I despise Ronaldo, but he's not a dirty player, and the ref has got to take a step back and think "right, let everyone calm down, show him a yellow, warn him, free kick Man City, get on with it".
Anyway, the same weekend someone gets sent off for celebrating a goal with a few of his own fans, how can we take anything in football seriously?

so they went into the shop and said "we would like to take up on your offer on the suits please", and the shop keeper said "your from sunderland arent you?",
the mackems shocked said "how do you know?"
shopkeeper replied "cos that shops over there your in burger king"
so the moral of todays story is, mackems are pretty dam stupid
