Nummer2: an excellent job!
Nobody said Mustapha yet?

To me it's not only the strangest, but the most annoying. I suppose the heavy bits with guitar are kinda cool, but otherwise.. wtf?

I personally love every aspect of In the Lap of the Gods.

But I suppose SSOR on Queen is the strangest.

I mean, why include a song that isn't even finished?

Don't analyse anything, just listen and enjoy. These are YOUR thoughts on the song and have no meaning or relevance to anything.
I think that it's strange that Fun It was even released.
Don't shun it!
@mooghead: It's not my analysis, I clearly stated that I found it somewhere and just pasted it here. But why not analyse when it's fun to do?

Love Theme from Flash. Try playing that one in the car with your buddies.

LOL true...
Queen 2 album is the hardest to understand most songs.. "The fairy feller's master-stroke" very hard to understand... a mate of mine once said "Sounds like to me there singing about a hore and touching ladies up" LOL! I myself dont no what the hell there on about!
It's still about a painting

because the instrumental intro is quite nice?

And perhaps they wanted to tell the people there's more to come "Seven seas of rhye..." the dots might indicate it's to be continued

LOL! Great example.
**I never give them hell. I just tell the truth and they think it’s hell.**

Fairy Feller's is an awsome song. It would seem wierd if you have never seen the painting by Richard Dadd, but it pretty much just describes the happenings within the painting.

The strangest song to me is probably 'Two Sharp Pencils'. Need I say more?

I've just listened to SHA (album) recently and I was embarrased by the strange (or better awkward) "Lap Of The Gods" (NOT "revisited") . It could have been a fine song with a catchy melody if they had only recorded it in the right tempo ;-). And without Roger's panicky yell at the beginning. And without the strange fade-out/fade-in after that. And without the "cheap synthesizer"-like cymbals. And then Roger again yelling his lungs out towards the end. The end is somewhat strange also, like starting a segue to the next song without a proper connection. Very strange song in many ways.

Which Queen song do you think is the most awkward?

Bye,
Nummer2
It is better than most of the crap they recorded in the 80's. I wouldn't say it one of their greatest songs, but it's not one of their worst either. At least that song has some imgination to it.

First wish to say-COOL TOPIC!!!
And yeah Mustapha is weird but i love it. Freddie sings it so impressingly. I love listening to the song.
I love "Mother Love" song, but in the very end they turn the baby yelling sound, and it's so annoying, you know?
I also find the beginning of "Death on two legs" too hard for me, when there is a big crescendo and suddenly short pause, it's so loud and actually making me ache my ears, so i rather omit that beginning.
Haven't listened to the first version of Lap of The GOs yet.
HOnestly, i'm not that keen on "Innuendo". I don't like the spanish motives in the song and actually it's a freaky song for me. Maybe not grown to this song yetXD
Wow, dude, thank you for the amazing interpretation of "March of the black Queen". This is one of my favourite songs.
